Hey all,

Looks like some of those games clearance titles are back on Sanity.com.au - only Guitar Hero/Rock Band games this time and some cheap cheap CDs! According to the frontpage titles will be updated daily so I guess we'll have to wait and see what else pops up on this sale :)

      Thanks for the stupid neg, swimmingtoad. I know you used / still do work at Sanity, but the old Sanity posts attest to the fact that they have piss-poor customer service skills and cannot organize their stock levels accordingly. (The online part, at least)

        I don't/haven't worked for sanity… I just gave you a negative due to me getting my games, and prefer their service over JB's, obviously neither are good, are you finished having a cry over a neg?

          Not having a cry at all, actually! Just typically a negative vote is accompanied by a comment to justify it..

          And to be perfectly honest, I do seem to recall quite clearly a heated discussion some 6 months ago about piracy… You were working at sanity at the time, studying some other degree, though. Unfortunately, you've edited all of the old comments out. But I digress, I'm sure if anyone really cared they could dig it up on a cache.

            @pais: Lol, as you would remember then i wasn't working for Sanity, i doing studies into the music industry. Lol, 'heated discussion'? More just conflicting views. It just personal opinion, i don't like the people in my Local JB, they are often rude and lacking in service completely, whereas Sanity are slightly better, im not saying they are great either

                  @grazer: Like I said, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find out on Google. It's the Knox City store, more than likely, but I didn't really care to pursue it as the original posts had been edited (unfortunately, it doesn't say what time they were edited, but it wouldn't surprise me if it were shortly after I pointed out he worked there). It's a fairly easy deduction to make with the number of "Sanity v JB" posts that are made. Meh.

    was gonna say…..don't get your hopes too high. Have had two previous game orders placed, and confirmed, only to be told later that they are out of stock and they have cancelled the order. Their stock management system leaves a lot to be desired….

    Got mine at 4:17am today. I wonder if they will honor the Black Sabbath box set sale? At checkout it was $13.95.

    Was willing to give Sanity the benefit of doubt, but they really are dickheads - someone smack me in the back of the head for being an idiot & placing an order! I bet one of their stores had one or two old crusty copies of these titles out back somewhere & thought "gee, what a good idea - we'll make a clearance section on the website & maybe sell one or two…"

    If they're going to do something like this, they need to implement an online SOH system, so when something sells out, it tells you before you spend your time placing the order … although Im sure it wont be long before they become the next EzyDVD.

    To the person who posted the deal, yes it was a bargain, but sadly Sanity have lived up to their reputation & let everyone down again - can't hold that against the person who posted the deal though!

    (I got the 'no stock' email on the Black Sabbath box set I ordered minutes after this deal was posted).

    They screwed me on Black Sabbath as well. I bet there was a single copy for the whole of Australia. Sanity is now on my no-buy list and will receive automatic downmods for all future "bargains".

    Yep I was shafted on the Sabbath boxset too.. after receiving a confirmation number email and all, they emailed again and said, sorry no go. I replied suggesting they invest in a database that can handle live stock levels.
    I actually got a reply, suggesting they're having their web designers to look into that in the new year.
    Hmmm… a decade too late perhaps, but at least they're looking into it! :/

    Wish I could change my vote to -ve.

    So did anyone here successfully manage to order/receive the Black Sabbath boxset?
