    I have one of those.

For just pushing pods through, they are fine.

Nice and compact, so we keep one in our caravan .

I reckon the Lavazza pods are the best tasting, so it's a bargain as far as im concerned.

I have 4 now ( picked up during various deals )….. so i dont need another :)

    • Agree with the taste. We have a Lavazza machine too and love the coffee it makes.

  • These machines seem to be getting cheaper and cheaper - I feel they are lowering the entry cost to increase their profits on the gazillion dollars they make per pod.

  • May drop over to harvey Norman today to see if there are any left over, they make good xmas gifts?

  • Semi-related… start re-using your coffee capsules, and put some decent coffee into your pods. There's an environmental benefit as well, but to get away from dirt-tasting Woolie's branded pods (and the half-stop above Gloria Jeans pods imo), this has been great. Cost comes way down as well. I don't even bother with the foil replacement, seems to work just fine.

    • Don't think any of the Modo Mio models can handle any other pods except for Lavazza ones or custom packed ones. So no Gloria Jeans for this one.

      • Apologies… didn't mean to imply the capsules would be a straight swap. — surely they're all built in a similar fashion, yes? plastic capsule with two filters inside? I have not ever cut another type open.

        • haha I read your comment too fast.. didnt see the dirt-tasting part :)

I tried friends strongest original nespresso. Lavazza is more stronger with better body.. :) but still once you add milk it starts tasting a bit like instant.. I prefer straight espresso with these machines.

I've kept my used Lavazza pods. theres no filter inside. The put aluminium foil over the top once you compact your grounds inside trick works, but so far not as good tasting as new pods.

        • I think Espressoland is the better one with more options plus hot chocolate. Was going to make a purchase with them but now lavazza have the buy 6 packs of pods with milk frother for $30 deal once you register your machine. . Hmmm…

  • Wonder if this is country wide? Catalogue ? Or targeted stores which I have the feeling…

  • Anyone had a look for stock today?

  • Not available at HN Aspley.
The bloke said it is store specific..

  • None at Westfield Fountain Gate
