  • Damnit, i bought this one last month when it was on sale at $99, now it is only $55!

    • +1

Does it have any inside pockets? If so what size?

      • No inside pockets. However, the outside pockets are very big and very deep.

      • It does have inside pockets! Wide enough for a larger wallet, not as big as the inner drink bottle ones of the bigger jackets though!

    • +2

How's their sizing? Is it true to size or bit looser/tighter?

    • Bought this last month too when it was 50%off. Sigh… Wish they can do price adjustment refund. hehe

plus free pick up in store

      • Ah forgot about that, even better!
        Bought one.

      • Thx techpoida. saved $10 buying from their online shop.

        plus cashrewards

      • Cheers all.

  • cant use that special code ebay for 20% off>?

    • +2

They aren't a part of it, it seems so nope.

  • thanks. got $10 voucher from them so end up paying $35 hopefully worth it

    • where you get that $10 voucher from? :D

      • +1

Ah it's just for me, one off thingie sorry :)

  • Thanks OP. Got one for my upcoming holiday

  • +2

    Don't forget your 4.80 % http://www.cashrewards.com.au/kathmandu

  • -3

And the 20% off eBay code.

  • Tried to add size M to cart on the kathmandu website, did not work. Then I bought it on ebay with the shipping though :( it said mine was the last one in size M. Thanks OP

There's another colour as well, a burnt orange called "ginger spice" (no joke) that still has all sizes for the same price

Also it's free postage on their ebay if you spend over $100

    • Lol I bought this colour. Was gonna pull the trigger on usual colour black but then changed my mind when I realize most of my jackets are already in black or grey. That brownish orange colour looks quite striking to be honest

      • Ditto. For some reason I find the "ginger spice" more worth for its price. The black is a bit plain.

        • Me too. Too. Many black jackets and this looks pretty cool.

  • Any further discount for summit members?

Sorry ignore this. Just read 20% off but only for full prices item.

  • Just got one! Perfect!

  • Theres only XS and XXl sizes left

  • Thanks OP, paid with the $20 voucher from the fleece deal listed here a month or so ago. With the 4.80% cashback it worked out quite well.

  • Thanks. Purchased with cashrewards and store pickup. Hopefully sizing is accurate, but it seems based on website info that I should not have any trouble getting a refund in store at pickup if I'm not happy.

    • I got a dumb question, how do you purchase with cash rewards?I bought it via ebay ? Should I have bought through katmandu site to be eligible for it?

      • U have to go thru Cashrewards site. Search for the store then use the link there. Alternatively timsamu posted a direct link above.

      • I bought through the kathmandu site. I think it was 4.8% cashback. So just over $43 with store pickup. Also for others talking about sizes, the kathmandu store had all sizes (at least when i ordered last night) while others were reporting no stock on ebay.

  • No mediums, good deal though

  • Only XS size left…

  • damn, no size S left…

for the more fashion savvy folk, the ginger spice is actually a pretty cool colour combo :)
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kathmandu-Oslo-Mens-Warm-Fleece-H…

plenty of sizes available, the navy blue top padding goes really well with denim imo.

I ended up buying both the black and gingerspice for $90, great deal!

  • Just bought a ginger spice one in small for pickup along with cashrewards 4.8% (my first cashrewards purchase, happy to pop that cherry). I really wanted it in black, but then I realised all my jumpers and jackets are black and that the ginger colour looks actually pretty nice.

I've found in the past that Kathmandu sizes tend to be right on the money, but their winter jackets are designed to be worn with a few layers underneath. I prefer the fit of a small winter jacket on my medium torso as I don't tend to wear many layers under winter jackets.

Hopefully I can try it on in store and if it's a bit too small I can exchange it for a medium (if there's any stock left).

With the weather picking up I probably won't wear it till next year, but it looks pretty schmick,

  • I returned mine, which I bought a few weeks back:
    * Build quality is bad - one press button came off on first try itself!
    * Press buttons are very hard to use, especially with one hand!

My order is cancelled and refund is issued due to item is out of stock. What a BS.

    • Same here :(

    • Same here :(

    • Same. Annoying.

    • Did you guys all order an M size? I'm curious as to whether this was specific to particular sizes or a widespread cancellation. In any case, very disappointing…

      • Yep same here, ordered an L from the website, not ebay :(

      • +1

        I ordered large from website.

    • Same here.

The annoyance is that there wouldn't have been a problem if they had actually bothered to list the amount of stock on Ebay. It's likely that someone got lazy and didn't record the available stock or just wanted it all cleared regardless of whether buyers would be inconvenienced by a return.

    • Same here, I had an L ordered from Ebay. Not happy :(

    • Same here, ordered through their website for instore pickup.
Poor form by them, I hadn't received any emails from them after payment until today - informing me that it was cancelled…

  • Got an XS, fits just about perfectly maybe slightly tight in the arm pits. But god the length is totally out of wack, really long. Went down to like my upper thighs. Have to return it.

    • that's a worry, got XS myself direct from the online store and i'm still waiting on delivery for pickup, and length has always been a fit problem for me…

    • Got a XS myself. I'm worried too now. Can I know how tall are you just to compare so I can save a trip to collect it.

      • ~01.66m, any of you guys have any luck?

        • Thanks. I'm around 1.71. In that case I will collect it when I'm free and let you know if it fits better. Hopefully u manage to return yours for free.

        • @Jared17:

Same height as me and I got an S. It's a good fit but I think I may have been able to go an XS, just not a M.

It's a standard coat length. People here must have thought that despite this being advertised as a coat that they were expecting a low cut jumper.

Of course a coat is going to reach your upper thighs. Standard coat length for a man should even cover the twig and berries. Drop your arms by your sides and you should notice just where your wrists line up with your anatomy - and that's what was shown in the picture for this coat.

My gripe with the coat is the material is pretty average, and the internal pockets have holes at the bottom. Whilst I can put a wallet in there without it falling out, I can't put my keys or a phone in them. I've bought better coats for around the same price.

        • @c0balt: thanks for the feedback. Yep I did mistake it for a normal hooded jacket that reaches just below waist level. Never realized the subtleties in the picture regarding sleeve length and the coat length, as such it is good to know. So I guess the S size coat goes to your upper thighs too?

Also, how average is the material? I suppose still good enough for winters in Sydney? Not good to hear about the inside coat pockets though as I like to put mobile and keys there if I'm wearing slim fit jeans. Now I'm not sure if I want it. For $45 maybe I'm asking too much lol

          Thanks again for the feedback.

        • @c0balt:

          Fair response.

However, even as a coat it Was just awkard on the body. If it was loose around legs it would have been fine. But it was a hugging tight.maybe that's the style I don't know, but it didn't work for me.

Each to their own. Always worth a shot and checking it out.

  • I received a call to cancel as well ordered large. Bad form

  • got M but too long.
