  • Should I be worried about cheap trampolines? Like injury wise

    • +13

Yes don't buy anything that's cheap, only expensive products guarantee safety

      • I would not say that is always the case.

I bought a cheap ebay made in china tramp and my relo bought an australian one for triple the price and they both lasted about the same time.

        • @altomic: sorry, meant to upvote your comment.. now it won't let me undo.

        • @georgedn: click on votes under the comment, there should be a round red circle next to your name which is the revoke button. You can't change your -ve to a +ve though, just no vote.

        • @ilikeradiohead: thank you.. I have to wait until the hour is up though apparently

"Votes older than 1 hour cannot be revoked"

wow this place is so rulesy

          @georgedn: "nannabargain"

        • +1

Always look for the Aussie tramp stamp of approval

    • +1

You're in the wrong place, this is ozbargain

    • +1

You can insist to pay full price if that makes you feel safer.

  • Action are a good brand of tramps. This is a great deal

  • I have the same trampoline. It is quite bad. Not much bouncy. The only thing going for it is that it is the enclosure.

    • Are you jumping?

      • Are you jumping?

No. It's the puppies… I mean the kids who told me this.

    • -1

      Not much bouncy

      Are you dog?

      • +11

        Are you dog?

        Bitch.

    • If you want bouncy go for the Vuly Thunder.
      http://www.vulytrampolines.com/thunder?gclid=CN-tuMavyMcCFQK…

Best bounce around and only $2000 more.

    • -1

      are you dog?

      • Hey man clearly it's a human, no need for naim kauling

  • Now that's one thing i didn't check . the weight rating on these.

  • +1

150kg weight limit, one person at a time:
    http://www.actionsports.com.au/images/stories/virtuemart/pro…

  • got three kids (under 7) plus dad..150kg might just make it.

    hehehehhe

  • bought the exact same one last drop sell for $100 or $120, can't remember.

Easy to setup by 1 person, reasonable quality, plastic feels a bit cheap, but does the job for kids to bounce around and enjoy themselves.

but remember 150kg weight limit, so normally only 1 adult with kids.

    • Must have been a while since burger king deals

  • Anyone find stock around Brissy?

    • +3

None at browns plains, calamvale, underwood, mt gravatt or beenleigh. I give up.

  • Speaking of trampolines, Vuly, if you're reading this, OzBargain isn't the place to advertise your ridiculously expensive products…

    • +1

Comes with a free tent cover though

  • Are these available in Sydney ? Also are the boxes big? Will it fit a sedan's boot? Does it rust under the rain?

    • Just for reference, I have a 14ft purchased from Kmart of the same design, and both boxes fit just fine in the boot of a Corolla.

  • ok thanks. Do they rust?

  • None at Runaway bay

  • no stock Runaway Bay or Beenleigh QLD…..

  • Great deal.. Jumping for joy

  • I bought it few months ago for $100 from big w as well. I recommend this product, kids love it.

  • any other Big W shops have stock in WA? thanks

  • The deal is great but unfortunately there is no stock around Sydney. Just waste a lot of time ringing Menai, Chullora, Liverpool, Fairfield, Bankstown, Merrylands. I give up. You can cross those stores off your list.

  • Kmart has springless 12ft for about $200. anyone has them?

    • yeah. they only last a couple years in the sun. spring is the way to go, only rust you need to worry about

  • None in Darwin

    • is there ever anything in darwin?

      • Yeah, not very often. Do strike it lucky every now and then but definitely at a disadvantage for most items on ozbargain up here.

  • None is victoria i guess, contacted a few stores.. All sold out :( if anyone sighted one pls let me know

    • +1

None in Broadmeadows, Highpoint, Sunshine, Watergardens or Sunbury

      • None is eastland, forest hill, doncaster, boxhill, taylers lakes etc

  • All gone within 3 hours…

  • Just bought a 12ft one from Green Hills BigW (near Maitland, NSW). Had a lady in another store calling a bunch of stores, and these guys had a few out the back for $80. Everyone at the BigW's I went to seemed really surprised as they thought they hadn't been selling these trampolines since last November. Must just be clearing some old unsold stock. The checkout lady looked at the receipt and was like "are you just buying a part of a trampoline"; being surprised that for $80 it was a full one. Very happy with the buy. Probably not the greatest tramp in the world, but will be perfect for my 2 year old over the next couple of years, and who cares how long it lasts for $80. Thanks OP! :)

  • still have stock at Joondalup?

    • No, nothing NOR.

      • Thanks, even other WA's big W?

    • Yes, one available at Joondalup as I returned mine unopened. The 4 meter diameter would not fit in my yard.

  • Can i collect it on my pushbike?

    • Yep, let it jump on the handlebars.

  • +4

This used to be called a Jumpoline till your mother stepped on one

  • We bought this earlier in the year for$100 in the drop zone. Our kids are 1 and 3 and love it. We figured $100 was a cheap gamble in case they didn't like it, and if it only lasted a couple of years at least we hadn't forked out mega bucks. So far so good. We live in a coastal suburb so no doubt it'll rust in the not too distant future, but I'd rather a $100 purchase rust than a 2 grand product!

  • Wow, finally something interesting in the Drop Zone. I've been checking out that zone nearly every week since they launched this program and it's been nothing but cheap stationary, wrapping paper, kids' toys and a few things for exercising, and the same stuff hangs around for weeks.
