Aldi tempura nuggets are best.
I like the aldi tempura nuggets aswell , i dip them in masterfoods Smokey bbq sauce " taste's like Kfc bbq sauce to me " coupled with coles homebrand shoestring fries with chicken salt mmmmmm.
Can't go past the Aldi steak chips too!

I prefer macca's nuggets tbh. Too bad nsw isn't included or I would go crazy. Luckily I only eat fast food like once a month or it's fatville for me

I'm going to have a nugget party, with both KFC and McDonalds represented.
How many sauces to they include?
When I buy 24 nuggets from KFC they usually give 4 sauces
When I buy 20 nuggets from McDonalds they give about 3 I think?
I usually end up with a surplus of sauces anyway and store them in the fridge.
Am I the only one who prefers Maccas nuggets over KFC? To me the KFC ones are pretty bland and (most of the time) soggy. Not to mention maccas sauces taste better.
Agree on both points. Mayo makes the nuggets 10x better. Possibly KFC nuggets with mayo might be as good - but i'm stuck with their limited options. Also a sweet chilli / mustard combo works well.
I think the kfc nuggets went downhill approx when the first 24 for $10 promo came out (or earlier?). They used to have better batter and weren't so cookie cutter in shape and size. They seem so tasteless and soggy these days.
Like "running on empty" also mentioned, the maccas nuggets are great fresh, but turn into cardboard if not. I find at least with KFC nuggets they're still edible when they've been sitting there a while (eg. buying takeaway but not eating them straight away).
I think every HJ besides Tassie can't cook, because the nuggets are the best here. Maccas have no flavour without sauce, but I'll still jump on this deal.

Macca's nuggets are great if they are fresh and just came out of the Vat but leave them in the nugget warmer for more then 5 minutes and they start to dry and harden up, at which point they lose their appeal. Its a lucky dip when ordering in store unless you request fresh nuggets
Since this is ozbargain I think some of you may know this…good mc nugget hack:
Order chicken patties.
They have the surface area of about 3 nuggets,
they generally have to make them fresh
They cost about 1.60 and therefore makes it worth about 50c a nugget
They have some seasoning that makes them taste a little bit better (salt and pepper?)
Since this deal is on, it won't seem as good value, but when it's normal price (I think normal price on 20pk nuggets is around $14?) value of meat per $ should be more.
The nuggets taste better than the plain chicken patties. They are softer and the texture of the chicken is different.
to each their own i suppose, i find the chicken patties are tastier.

Yeah. Chicken patty is in the McChicken, the crispy chicken patty is in all other chicken burgers.

I couldnt wait and bought 24 nuggets from kfc today.
I mostly eat McDonalds nuggets but have had KFC nuggets a couple of times in the last month. After tasting the KFC nuggets, I've decided I much prefer the taste of the McDonalds nuggets. I agree with some of the comments that the McDonalds ones are crunchier than the soft KFC ones and I think the chicken is of a better quality. It does of course depend on how long ago they were cooked and how many times they were cooked. I might give this deal a go if I take the family out but I'm not rushing in to get 24 nuggets just for me.

Honestly I think a red rooster has the best chicken nuggets. Especially the cheesy ones.

We should have like an Ozbargain McDonald's nugget meetup in your local area. All meet in the car park at your local Maccas, walk in and order like 20 orders at the same time. I can see the place going into meltdown. Much like websites get the slashdot effect, the Maccas would be Ozbargained.

was not advertised at the st Kilda rd location but was on the self checkout kiosk menu.comes with 4 dipping sauces.
Same. No sign out front like KFC has. Walked in and found it on the kiosk.
Just had "burp" 18 nuggets as a snack…
Melb Central, no advertising, manager had to tell the crew. 4 sauces. Will take 6 home for the Mrs (for which she will politely turn down, so late night snack sorted :)

seems odd they haven't advertised this on tv or in store, i would have thought they would like everyone to know they are competitive with kfc. I like these nuggets equally to kfc, they both have their good & bad points. The maccas ones are rarely fresh unless you ask for freshly made, the kfc ones have a different tasting coating so its kinda like comparing oranges to mandarins really.
you're so right, oranges and mandarins are just like caged sick chickens pumped full of chemicals deep fried in crumb.
I saw the deal advertised yesterday at a food court McDonalds so there is some advertising at least.
