Saw this offer on the NZ site, and tested the code on Groupon Australia and it is already working.

Terms:

Offer only valid from Wed 2 Sept to Thurs 3 Sept on one purchase per customer. The maximum discount amount is $50. The 15% discount is only valid for local deals. The promo code is not valid on eGift cards, Dick Smith, Wet n' Wild, Imax, and Australia Zoo deals. The discount will be applied to one single voucher, not the basket amount.

For Sydneysiders, I can recommend La Beirut Lebanese Restaurant. Used this voucher on Sunday and had a very tasty meal there.

If you want good leb food, go to Al Aseel in Greenacre or Jasmins in Bankstown/Punchbowl

    • Thanks - will bear that in mind if I'm in the area.

Good recommendations there by easternculture. Also Jasmin1 in Auburn very popular and for a good reason too.

Yep, forgot the Auburn one. Awafi chicken is really good too.

Jasmin is very generous with the serving. The mixed plate is potentially enough for 2 people that are not that hungry

    • i like 5 star kebabs in auburn.

      • It is Star Kebab and its serves Turkish food :-)

        • its actually New Star Kebabs, its that kind of morning where i need to have a kebab already.

When i keyed in the code, discount was initially shown, however after i submitted payment, it said "reward invalid", anyone has the same problem? i tried to pay via paypal and amex, both showing the same error msg when submitting payment…

    • +1

I had that with a previous code using Chrome and Internet Explorer. Tried it on the iPhone and it worked. Just use as many different browsers as you can until it works :)

      • Thanks. At the end, I proceeded the payment via PayPal despite the error message as the deal I'm interested in ended midnight today. Guess what, the discount was taken off in the PayPal total payable amount in the next screen again. So I was able to get the discount despite the error message. Hope this info could help other fellow ozbargainers who have the same problem :)

  • I just had an invalid code. Is the deal over NZ time?

Just tried it on a massage and it worked.

  • Looks like you can only use the code once. Just tried.

    • Yup, the terms are "Offer only valid from Wed 2 Sept to Thurs 3 Sept on one purchase per customer"

  • Is it only for food? Trying to use it for local SA holiday deal and got this message "Your code did not work this time. Note you need to be logged in to use a code; please log in or register below. Otherwise this code may have already been used, does not meet the minimum voucher price or is invalid." Anyone has the similar experience?

    • This code is for 'Local' deals, looking at the tabs on the top of the groupon page, the three categories are 'local', 'goods' and 'travel' so if your deal is under 'travel', it won't be local.

    • There's a 15% code for travel deals today.
