$200 of Orders for as Low as $45 Shipped @ COTD (Club Catch Membership Required)

910

I thought this was good enough to deserve a separate post.

  1. Sign up to COTD using a referral link (which will give you $10 credit). Sign up to the free trial of the Club Catch membership (and be sure to untick the auto-renew).

  2. Make your first order worth $50 through the iOS/Android app. You get 50% off for the sale in the link, $5 off for your first purchase on the app, and free postage for orders >= $50. This will come to a total of $20 delivered and should get your account credited with the $10 for the referral. On your order confirmation, you will get a message saying you get $20 off on your next order for visa checkout. Which brings us to…

  3. Make another $50 order, with the 50% off, free shipping and $20 off for visa checkout (you don't need a visa card for visa checkout either, it lets you use all the major credit card types), this will come to $5. On your order confirmation, you will get a message saying you get $10 off on your next order for visa checkout. Which brings us to…

  4. Make another $50 order, with the 50% off, free shipping and $10 off for visa checkout, this will come to $15. On your order confirmation, you will get another message saying you get $10 off on your next order for visa checkout. Which brings us to…

  5. Repeat (4). But sadly, the fun ends there.

However, you should have made 4x $50 orders costing $20, $5, $15 and $15 each delivered. With the $10 referral credit, this should come to $45 all up if my math is any good (However I fear the referral credit might auto-deduct off the $5 order, which would mean it would cost $50 all up, but that's still great).

I don't think I can add the referral link to the bottom of this post because I haven't been a member long enough, but if someone else could do that it would be great.

Edit: Sorry I didn't make that clear, you can use whatever payment method for the first order, on the order confirmation for that first order a message will pop up saying you will get a discount on your next order if you use visa checkout on that next order

Mod: Referral links not permitted for new posters.

  • The site now says sold out for all the %50 off items which is not true, a lot of the stuff I saw when the sale was still on is still on the site at the normal price.
Thanks for posting this deal I got some good bargains

    • I suspect that they pulled the extra 50% off not because all the items were completely sold out yet probably the real reason they lost too much money sort of thing and panicked quickly pulling the sale. Especially with these expensive items going at hundreds of dollars off (such as the $750 BeefEater BBQ was going for $370 delivered).

Thats COTD for you, because they buy at Bulk Old unsellable/discontinued stock from distributors/retailers/manufacturers paying next to nothing and sell those junk/obsolete items. Like the N900 WD routers are 2012 old stock , have no warranty from manufacturer, discontinued WD line of routers (WD discontinued making routers after 2014). All of us got it just for a cheap 1TB 2.5" 9.5mm drive for uber cheap storage. Good thing is these items are too difficult for brodens to buy in huge nos :P

Not every thing that COTD sells is junk or obsolete discontinued models they can actually be this years current model. I just the other day bought from COTD a New Balance Elite Edition 1600 (model CM1600BW) shoe for $80 delivered and it's selling on the New Balance AU online store for $180. This model was launched in April 2015 so it's far from an obsolete model. They may be cheaper since they buy in bulk direct from manufacturers and probably other sources. So you can see how much of a price markup there is at retailers compared to COTD.

        • @hollykryten: Their New Balance stock is not AU stock and imported directly from US. Source : COTD Warehouse sale @ Geelong, asked a rep on how they can sources NB for such awesome prices.

        • @regenade:

Oh well. It's still a current 2015 model no matter where it's sourced from.

  • Is it still working?

  • Has anyone's order shipped yet

    • 2/3 of mine have

      • Nice, good to see they weren't cancelling them. Bit worried as some of my orders came to 0.01 cents hahaha :)

        • No wonder they pulled this promotion early.

        • @shalomjd: Only one order had that because I had 20$ referral credit from referring some friends haha

  • My wolverine boots arrived today. Really nice boots. Steel capped. Should have bought a few for future usage.

    • Yes as of today

      • You getting $10 or $20 and via app or web ?

  • Hey, yes I just received a visa checkout discount after purchased items via android app.

      • $20- via app
