Cheers grabbed one for my switch 2, cable that come with it isn't long enough.

    • on that note the HDMI cable that also comes with it is too short compared to the old one. Poor form!

Always recurring deals typical 480Mbps cables. Any recurring good deals on USB3 5GBps USB-C cables?

    • +10

Limited stock and not recurring, but these cables are full USB 4, will support 40GBps transfer and 100w power

You may be able to get free Uber delivery as well

Otherwise there's always AliExpress, especially if you can get a good cashback or buy multiple things and apply bundle deals / discount code

got it from good guys.. had $20 store cash put to good use

      • oh these are neat, might get em for my portable monitor that takes type c display

        • I don't think this support DP Alt Mode if you want to run your video through it, in the diagram on the page it show up as x for video output.

          • @AaronRain: I don't get this display port alt mode thing still.

How do i know what it means?

For running a type c cable like a display port does it always require having alt mode?

            • +1

@AeymothSky: DisplayPort cable (for video/audio only like the old DVI/VGA cable) and USB-C cable are different things, what you want I assume is a USB-C cable that has DisplayPort (DP) Alt Mode in order for the USB-C cable to have DisplayPort functionality (output video) unless you are only just using the USB-C to run power and have a separate DP/HDMI cable for video output.

In short you will need a USB-C cable that is at least USB 3.1 Gen 2 in order to support DP Alt Mode however they still need to said they support it (i.e https://www.amazon.com.au/Silkland-Monitor-Display-Transfer-…), otherwise any USB4 and Thunderbolt 4 (and beyond) require it to be supported if you want to be sure without it saying so (might as well as the price difference isn't much and for future compatibility).

    • just got one AliExpress, if it arrives I'll test if it works.
I think makers treat AU as idiots who can't tell 480Mbps from usb3.

      • Thanks for this, have been looking for a new cable for a portable monitor, these should be fine!

This deal still works for a 240W for cheaper. Last deal for this has got 200+ votes compared to 20 odd for that. Am I missing something

      Different brand.

      Plug doesn’t light up.

Some ppl think cheap cables for 240w worthy equipment is money badly spent.

240w cables may have compatibility issues with some devices.

  • These are really well make. Using for my laptop.

I brought two of these for $5 each (singular)

    [ -$9.99 ] for x2

soooo these are the same but two pack right, i don't need another 2

    • What was the packaging like?

  • My second ordered 🙏

  • Does these work for laptop connecting to a monitor?

    • Even overkill

    • +1

Would say no as these look power only.

  • Does this have led indicator for charging watt

    • I feel like I need one of those just for the the occasional diagnostic testing purposes

  • Is this the same as the previous deal for only 1 cable?

  • Thanks, now I just need a 100w charger block.

GaN 100W Novoo charger. I have one. Great price and performance. Also supports most charging protocols, including PPS (meaning Fast charging on Samsung and Pixel phones).

    • Would 65 W be enough?

Is it safe to use all of these with Apple devices? There are many threads saying it’s not safe and that using non-Apple cables can affect battery life.

    • No issues at all.

    • Perhaps the bad reviews were from dodgy counter fit cables? As for INIU - I find the quality of their power banks and cables to be better than fellow Ozbargain favourite UGreen,

Just go straight for the 240w version for a few dollars more. One cable to rule them all (for now).

    • Thanks Dee, I have canceled my order and bought this one instead.

  • Bought it. Don’t know what I will use it for. I believe I need a charging brick that supports 100w power too? Also can I charge my laptop too? Thanks.

  • Available again, 20% off checkbox.
