Bought some before, this seems like a good deal for cables which feel pretty durable. And next date delivery instead of waiting on AliExpress for questionable ones (can find good deals on thunderbolt 4 cables via AliExpress choice if you watch out)

Have a pair of these with my Anker travel charger and they have been great for me. I like the extra length as sometimes hotels put the power points in weird spots relative to the beds.

    • What type of transfer speed do you get?

      • +11

I don't imagine his Anker travel charger is transferring too much data in the hotel rooms

      • +1

        65W from my charger ๐Ÿ˜

        • +2

          I'm getting 96 from a 100 watt charger.

  • +3

Not a bad price, but personally I can't go back to straight connectors ever since I switched to right-angled

    • +1

in what way are they better?

      • +13

I don't have any but I expect they're better to rest your charging phone on your belly while doom scrolling.

        I could be wrong though.

      • +2

Much more comfortable while using your phone since they don't stick out and poke you. Don't stick out as far from your laptop so it doesn't catch on things, and doesn't bend and stress the cable if your charge is in a perpendicular direction.

    • +1

The amount of straight connectors I've broken over the years just from resting the cable against something while using the phone.

Switched to right angle a few years ago and hasn't happened since.

    • can you recommend one with right angled high power cable?

  • Ordered. Thanks op

  • +4

The ones I use have the LCD display showing the power usage (Watts), and if itโ€™s using the PD protocol. Sooo handy if youโ€™re ever trying to work out if something is charging quickly or slowly or at all.

    • Its nice to have, ashame all my display cables have died prematurely. ive stopped buying them

    • Same, however, I have the right angled ones and the screen is NEVER on the right side. It's almost always facing the floor in the orientation I want to use my devices.

      • +1

Then it's probably a left angle cable……..in disguise!!!?!

Have a few of these , very reliable

    • Does the green light on the plug indicate anything other than it's charging? Eg does the length of it vary?

      • +1

        Just binary on/off

  • +1

    These are awesome.

  • +4

Please note these are great for charging but for data transfer speed is only 480 Mbps.

    • yeah, the 480mps is a nuisance with charge cables, but if people re backing up phones to PCs , phones are slow due to SOC even with usb-c port.

  • +1

I use these extensively over the last 2-3 years daily, work flawlessly

  • Great deal, got 2 pairs!

  • Got 2 packs. Thanks OP!

I was gonna buy a few of them and then i saw the listings for 240W cables and I was like… yeah… gotta replace all these 100w cables for those later down the line~

  • any recommendations on 140w + chargers.
Currently looking at Anker 140w zolo, anker prime 150w, ugreen 160w.

  • Ordered, thanks.
I'm also looking for recommendations for 10cm or so short versions of this?

    • They sell 30cm ones of these cables (I got a couple) but not seen shorter

  • Any deals on lightning cables?

  • In stock again - love these - they have taken quite a beating and still going strong.

    • But $16.15 for 2 now?

  • +3

    It's back to $10.66 again.

Seems that it goes on sale half price for the 1 or 2 pack occasionally, personally a fan of these.

  • i find that the 2m cables always lose a lot of current when charging compared to the 1m or 0.5m ones.
Do these have a big drop in charging current as well?

    • How do you tell?

    • That is normal as they current has a long distance to travel compared to .5m or 1m
