Right… so i have to travel to Osborne Park WA for a single cable? Good luck with that.
You might want to put the pickup location in the title.

  • Why not make it free instead of charging such a trivial amount… Would cost more in labour to collect payment and give change to anyone that doesn't have a 10c coin, issue receipts, record each sale in computer, deal with warranty claims and refunds on faulty cables etc..

    • Don't understand why this is down voted. All things raised in this comment are completely valid.

  • No one uses mini firewire any more.

It was only ever old Apple computers, and overpriced accessories with "For Mac" stamped on them.
i.e. A different market than those on OzBargain looking for 10 cent cables.

I suggest they are best going in the recycling bin.

Could be a pair of high strength shoe laces. Oh wait… i can get only ONE.

  • Do you accept AMEX?

  • Give it a few years and we'll see Thunderbolt in the same bargain bins.

I'd almost agree, although the difference being that wheras Firewire was an Apple technology, Thunderbolt was developed by intel and is available on quite a number of different devices - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Thunderbolt-compatible…

Having said that, I think HDMI and USB 3.0 are much more adopted standards and are as a result much more accepted.
