If I was going to buy one of the cheap Android boxes ATM I reckon the new Nvidia Shield TV device is what I'd get.

It's a little more but for that you do get a lot more device (so to speak).

    • A little more? Isn't it about 200.- + remote extra

Location - Warsaw. What is the chance of someone in Poland follows OzBargain, post deals and comments only on Gearbest?

Clearly he's associated. Someone probably should do something about that…

      • he might want to know about the numerous Amazon deals from the USA we seem to list

  • I picked up a Cenovo Mini PC a about 10 days ago from Gearbeat using a supposedly expired code for US85. It arrived today and its a dual Win 8.1 and Android 4.4 . I'm loving it for the extra few
dollars you get a lot more.

  • Cheaper before

  • Not a bargain, you can find these on geekbuying for US$60.

  • There is little incentive for manufacturers to keep the OS up to date, e.g lost of android 4.4, not many android 5. The MXIII boxes are android 4.4, if you want android5, need to buy new box Mxiii plus/G.
I also have an intel based TV box, dual boot, PIPO, at least windows upgraded from 8.1 to 10.

The OTA android upgrades are also an issue, I believe they fail because the signatures don't match the existing ROMs ………

Be good step to see more of the intel based units without dual boot android bloat, even KODI release on windows and Intel first now before other platforms.
