  OP, your specs missed the most important one: "Uses 4 x 'C' sized batteries (included)".

  Now we need a special on AA-to-C adaptors, so we can use Eneloops.

    Just order them off eBay from any Chinese/other store. And yes, I got a bunch about 5 years ago and use Varta/Eneloops in them.

  I honestly can't remember the last time I saw C cells on a retail shelf. It does look like Coles and Woolies sell them online, so I guess they aren't completely obsolete.
