What I was thinking. Hope this not going to become a common trend once backwards compatibility is fully rolled out.
Last months Tomb Raider was also previously free on the 360.
I guess free games is still better then no free games.
Fine with me - I get 2 new xbox one games this month (I never play 360 anyways)
What I was getting at was that potentially you could get 4 different games per month on your Xbox one if all 4 were backwards compatible.
If all 4 games were backwards compatible this month - for example the you would have only 3 games as one is a duplicate.
True. I do remember reading something from MS saying "get 4 free games a month for your xbox one with backwards compatibility" as part of their sales pitch. Giving us the same on 2 consoles or a previous game would almost make this a lie so I'm hopeful :)
I have Walking Dead on 360 but happy to upgrade it for free on Xbox One.
Wish theyd do fifa 16
EA gave Fifa 16 Early Access for 10 Hours who has EA access account. I used it for 10 hours and well couldn't feel much difference from Fifa 15. I might pass this year but hey that's my personal choice.
I liked PES 2016 better
I had fifa 12 on the 360. Then i got xbone, so got fifa 15 for it.
Looks sharper, but gameplay identical.
Nuf said really - unless you really want to play as the girls teams, just grab fifa15 for $20 off gumtree, and save $50.
Yeah but no more squad updates, new players in ultimate team etc. This is the real reason people upgrade. fifa 12 to fifa 15 is absolutely not gameplay identical. I played fifa 14 the other day at a mates and it was horrendous in comparison to 15
I've bought and played Valiant Hearts, it's definitely worth downloading for free.
And if you haven't played The Walking Dead: S1 you're in for a treat. :D
This was mediocre at best on iOS, I fail to see how a nextgen console version could improve it so drastically.

Very disappointing. They have essentially given us two games this month, as metal gear was free on the superior platform beforehand, and the walking dead is taking up two slots
I had thought they'd keep the quality up compared to PS plus as they only had to fill 4 games a month but it looks like I was wrong.
It's not the best month but imo Playstation has been lacking for some time now.
Ps plus has been good if you own all 3 systems like i do. Im drowning in vita titles which is great. Im not overly excited for this months gold though. I expected a lackluster month though following last month having some great titles. Cant win em all though.

This. Been a Plus member for 3 months and only seen indie games except for the MGS5 demo.
In this time Xbox has had a few decent ones like Tomb Raider (albeit I've already owned it).
We also received rocket league and temple of osiris? Think we're doing great on psn.
Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I do love my indies now and then but I still would like a AAA game every now and then. Xbox has been pretty good for the past few months, especially for 360.
But I suppose owning both systems is a benefit, one system is bound to have something good.
Rocket League is great, sure. Temple of Osiris is a fun game (haven't played it with friends) but compared to Tomb Raider (2013) it's pretty eh in comparison.

True, i do own all systems so i cant complain. Im winning every month but for those with only one i can see their frustration. I dont mind the voting but i think in the future they'll eventually throw the the same ones back into voting until they get picked. Only time will tell but its not bad.

i did use a vpn thingo i just went incognito on Chrome, signed in to the xbox website then set me region to Japan. Just for those who aren't in the know of vpn stuff aha
