Some handy hints and best way to prepare:

  2. Use add to cart function and then pay for all items together, use add to cart function now to prep your items before they sell out
  3. You will max out your discount if you purchase above $666, better to use several purchases if you are over $666
  4. You cannot mix currencies in checkout
  5. Will not work with other coupons or gift cards
  6. Does work on already reduced prices
  7. Will work on international items as long as paid for at ebay.com.au (AU site)
  8. Always remember to use Cash Rewards
  9. If you want to check your coupon used in PayPal, view the transaction details in PayPal

      Yes, it does

Anyone found any iPhone 6s deals yet? 15% off RRP would be better than a 10% TRS refund.

    • +1

And you might be able to get both.

    • The 6s prices are crazy on ebay at the moment… Still 10-50% more than from Apple direct… Would be nice to get 25% off (CLICK15 + TRS) even if only RRP…

    • buy gift cards from DSE at 10% extra value, buy 6s from them, then claim trs

      • This is exactly what I did. Also bought an iPad so saved $200 total. Plus TRS when I travel next month.

TRS has cap of $900 item value if returning back right? So I can only claim the iPad.

        • -2

can you claim trs for domestic flights? eg at mel airport

        • @ozchobie: Um….no.

        • 900 dollars but surely a used ipad isn't worth as much now :p

        • uhm why neg me. It's a serious question wow.

  • I still havent used my 50$ credit from the august/ september deal. Can i use it with this or is it considered a coupon / gift card?

    • +1

Me too. No. It's a coupon. You can't apply as well unfortunately. I tried, it's one or the other code only.

      • Thanks for the info :).

  • Well I got screwed over on this deal. Got around $190 total savings in two purchases from the one vendor by paying through PayPal. Messaged the seller and said that I didn't want to pay the quoted $280 for delivery, I'd rather drive two hours each way and collect it myself (item title said "can deliver", it seemed optional). Seller messaged me and said, ok our policy is if you want to pick up you must pay COD (shouldn't that be Cash On Pickup, and shouldn't the policy be written into the listing?), and they cancelled the PayPal payment (cancelling my discount) before I could respond. They try to persuade all customers to pay bank transfer cash regardless, but obviously they compensate for PayPal fees through their delivery fees. And I can't use the discounts on any other purchases instead as they only cancelled the Paypal part of it.

    • +7

sellers need to post it if you pay by Paypal for the proof of post (As buyers can dispute and ask for refund saying they did not receive the item.) and also if seller does not want you to show up for an item. I would ask the seller first before buying if they accept pickup with Paypal. I have not seen anyone doing that.

      • edit… Well nevermind I think I was wrong… For what its worth, I dont think paypal let you do a chargback on items bought from ebay with the "pickup" option specified at checkout.. Im positive that used to be a rule and I think they must have changed something in the last year or two..

    • +1

shouldnt it be cash on delivery

    • +4

Why didn't you ask the seller prior to buying? Why did you just assume he would be okay with it? It's kind of your fault.

  • Any good xbox one bundles on sale + 15% off?

  • +1

Is the $100 max discount per transaction or per account.

In other words, if i make 2 purchases worth $666 on two separate occasions, will both be discounted 15%? Or wont it because I've already saved $100?

Apologies if it's already been explained

    • +1

I think you only can have 2 transactions. So if both purchases worth $666. You get a saving of $200. I think

    • It is max $100 per transaction.

  • Just bought this for $68 (shipped) after discount:

GENUINE Plantronics Voyager Legend Wireless Bluetooth Headset

  • Spend more than $1000 …. empty wallet

  • Kogan have removed their lightning cables from the eBay store. Annoying.

    • They also removed the 55" and 42" tv's
shame i was considering buying one.

  • Just a thanks for posting this discount code. Brought a cpu.

  • So happy! Auction that I was bidding on ended today! Saved my $70!

    Thanks!

  • -2

2 transactions per customer? So does that mean 2 15% discounts?

  • does anyone know what happens if I cancel some of my order I used with the coupon do i get full refund or only half?

  • Just bought a used but mint condition Samsung Galaxy Note 2014 for $255 delivered after 15% off.

    • Private listing? Note 4?

      • +1

        Note 2014!

        • There are many versions of the Note…
If you do a Google for 2014 it shows the Note 10.1 which is a tablet…(?)

        • @Maxx Power: 2014 is part of the name of the tablet indicating it's the 2014 model of the Note 10.1 tablet.

      • Yes private listing and Note 10.1 2014 is a 10" tablet.

  • No idea what to buy :(

    • +5

then don't buy anything and save some money. It's only 15% discount but their marketing seems to sound more like 50% discount.

      • $100 isn't much to you?

      • Yea, but the discounts!

      • agreed, its just its not sale season atm so this feels like a sale

  • anyone have suggestions on lawnmowers ? preferably sub $500

  • Anything under this category, "Entertainment Memorabilia>Music Memorabilia>Other Music Memorabilia" the code just won't work. The T&C's doesn't say is excluded. what the?

    • I'm sad it doesn't work on the 'Trailer' category, because it's a sub-category of "Cars, Bikes, Boats (9800)"

  • Thanks OP, just saved $100 off my new tv

  • I've used the coupon CLICK15 twice during this promotion already.
There are some other things I would like to order.
I added them to cart and added coupon and it worked.
But I'm not game enough to complete the transaction by committing to the purchase and then having the coupon code rejected.

If the coupon works when going through checkout, will it work when I'm ready to pay?

    • I would advise against, if I remember correctly during the ebay BBQ sale someone said they used it more than the listed times and eBay sent them a notice with a temp. ban or cancelling the transaction or warning or something to that effect.

      • thanks for the warning :)
I also found this comment above :)

EDIT: I guess my next question is if I purchase on my eBay account and use someone elses PayPal account.
Probably risky too, in the terms it says that ebay and paypal must use the same email address.
My ebay and paypal are using different emails and they work perfectly fine for the first two transactions I made.

  • Any good 64GB SD card deals? As low or close to what TA can get?

  • Thanks so much for this, my M705 has finally stopped working properly after 4 years (click and hold periodically stops working) and it doesn't work on my glass table.

This will resolve both issues :)

  • sorry to ask this question if it has been answered before. I was trying to buy an item off a seller who raised item price this morning. Messaged the seller and he sent an offer through. Is it possible to still use the coupon after accepting the offer. I have never received an offer before, nor have I accepted one.

Really want to benefit from this sale.

    • +3

To answer my own question, it worked…

      • How do you use a coupon if they accept your offer.

      • at what stage did you add the code?
looking to do the same thing.

        • +1

once accepted the offer, just proceed to check out where you will see the normal coupon box.

  • +1

Anyone come across a good 24inch monitor?

  • Anyone know what happens if your purchase contains more than 10 items?

Tried reading the T&C's and it didn't mention anything other than 'Max 10 items per transaction'.

    • +1

shoud not be a problem, max discount is $100 and has nothing to do with number of items

      • +1

        Thanks.

Checked my order receipt and it does seem to still give the discount for each of the items (various items from various sellers), despite being more than 10 in one transaction.

  • As a buyer, if someone has sent me an offer to purchase can this discount be used?
I cant "add to cart", it is simply asking me to accept the offer.
Just wondering if i accept the offer, will it give me an opportunity to add the discount code after that?

I got the following message after I checked out:

    "Your payment is still processing

If your payment is declined for some reason, we’ll send you an email to let you know. You should then come back to your item(s) and try your payment again."

Anyone get the same thing? I hope Cashrewards tracks!

    • +2

Same here, the ebay order confirmation email arrived after 4mins. I hope cashrewards works. It was big purchase.

  • Items are no longer showing the CLICK15 promo information (but it was there 20 minutes ago).
    Is it over?

    • Yeah, I've just noticed that as well.
One of the items I was looking at yesterday no longer has the promo listed below the price.

  • Do you think you can use this while making an offer?

    • +3

Yep I done it today… something i wanted was $300, i offered $250, the seller can back with a counter offer of $265.
I accepted, jump in to pay for it with paypal entered code and it worked with a 15% discount subtracted!

      • Anyone care to elaborate on how to do the checkout for that one. i have made an offer, just need to know how to checkout and use the code. cheers

        • +1

Well it's the same as when you buy something like buy it now
You need the item seller to accept your offer or come back with a counter offer
Then when you accept and click on pay now you end on the same screen you usual would and you enter the code. This needs to happen before midnight though as the coupon is going to expire
