Way too much work, mate. They know that people will throw these new SIMs away after their 1st use so why not just make the deal available to both existing and new customers?

Are there any better MVNO providers out there than Amaysim? I'm looking for a 3GB 4G unlimited plan that is cheaper than Amaysim.
For $5 more you could use Boost prepaid, who give you unlimited calls/text, 3GB of data (+1GB bonus each Sunday) and using Telstra's NextG network (ie: greater coverage than Telstra Wholesale) which now offers 4G too.

Just for one day :PI've been on 4G for at least a week or so now. I'd say they rolled it out early? Another SIM I ordered said specifically "will not work on 4G" but as soon as I activated it the phone received 4G no problem.
I don't really find 4G all that exciting to be honest. Plenty of speed, but big deal… It just means I burn my allowance up faster. Personally I'd rather they stayed 3G and gave 5GB/month.

I'm currently on the a $20/month plan with just 1GB which is usually enough for me. I've heard rumours that my carrier is planning to forcibly migrate us to more expensive plans soon.
Now this is going to give me something to really think hard about…. It is 2x my current plan but it offers a decent amount more.
I miss being billed just $11/month for a 1GB allowance!
Any idea once purchased when the sim has to be activated by? I still have 2 recharge vouchers to use that expired by December so is thinking if i can buy this now and activate this after I have used the other 2 vouchers.

Confirmed that the code does NOT work with retail version of the SIM Card (I purchased one specifically from Woolworths and could not apply the promo code). Hope this helps someone. Ended up ordering one online…
