  • for the same money you can get Boost mobile, unlimited calls/txt, 7~8GB data and just about to allow 4G, on the Telstra network.

    • +5

Some people may like the charity incentive.

Also, Jeenee has the BEST customer service I have ever dealt with.

      • +3

        I agree with joeflacco.
        Jeenee's Customer Service is legendary.
No telco I know can come close to Jeenee's Customer Service.
NOT even Virgin Mobile in the days when it was owned by Branson.

        • -1

You want to know why Boost mobile is better? cause you don't have problems or the need customer service.

        • @holden93: Third month with Boost, my recharge went missing daily - requiring me to call. At least an hour wait during the day and about half an hour at night. Customer service wasn't that great. However their notes were excellent. Didn't have to re explain myself.

That said. I love Boost. Recent convert.

        • @togaboyau: me my mother and both my brothers are on boost and not a single problem ever.

Hardly 7 or 8 gb, Yes you get the bonus' on sunday but its 3gb for the other 27-28 days in the billing period.

      • Exactly. For a lot of people, including myself this 2GB bonus on Sundays won't make a huge difference. Most of the time I use data is to and from uni and work. So the bulk of my data usage will be Monday to Friday. On Sundays I'm usually just relaxing at home connected to wifi anyway.

  • Why is this a bargain?

    • +3

A bargain isn't necessarily confined to a monetary bargain. For the customer service you receive and the fact that you're helping our people with disabilities, this might be considered by some to be a "bargain" in that sense.

Looks like first month is $40, then $30/month thereafter.

Edit, one page on site shows $40/month, others show $30.

If profits didn't go to charity I would have chimed in saying where's the deal here, in saying this I don't know how much the founder and CEO is paid annually either…

    • I think you are right. It is $30 a month or these guys can't even get there CIS right

      https://www.jeenee.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/cis/planid…

      "Minimum monthly charge
      $25 per month"

      Is it $40 - $30 - or $25???

      • My bad, confusing at first (for me). You select the option under the 'Choose your Data' header. Too many colours and stuff on the screen. Perhaps designed with accessibility in mind.

        • +1

          You're right again… missed that.
Didn't notice the website was data pack "options" too.
Maybe they should have + $5 + $10 + $15 for each option to make it stand out a bit more???

        • @czar: :)

    that logo is cute

  • I have been with Jeenee for a while and on the $25 dollar plan with 1.5gb, can i call up can upgrade it to the current offer with the bonus 500mb data? thanks

    • Yes, you certainly can upgrade to the new offer at no additional charge.
However, the change in plans will not take effect until the start of your new billing month.

      • So it's $30 for unlimited talk and text with 1.5GB data?

        • That's correct.

The Unlimited Talk & Text Plans are available as follows:

          • $30 - with 1.5GB Data
          • $35 - with 3GB Data
          • $40 - with 5GB Data (normally has 4GB but includes a bonus 1GB of Data for the life of the plan)
  • Vodafone Post paid will give you Unlimited calls and txts, 3GB + 300 INT minutes and TXTS; if reception is ok and vodafail doesn't bother you

  • Just to confirm rep:

All your plans are post-paid, require payment details on file and a credit check. Correct?

    • +1

That's correct, we are a post-paid provider and do require a credit check upon application. You can pay via direct-direct, or credit cards.

    1. Is it 4G or there is 4G+?
    2. No international calls?
    3. Does data rollover?

    Thanks Rep

    • Thanks for your questions:

      1. There are no restrictions on Jeenee's network offerings compared to what Optus offers their consumers. However, the availability of 4G+ is dependent upon the particular capabilities of the handset

      2. At this moment we do not offer international cals - although these are coming soon (prior to Christmas)

      3. Our data offers do not roll over
