      G29 for ps4, g920 for xbox one.

      • g920 is for the pc and xbox one.

/edit, all are for pc i see.

    Prices are dropping like flies.
Feel sorry for those that preordered for $500

    • I get the feeling the software isnt driving hardware sales.

What games are out there that suits the wheel? Forza 6? Project Cars? Horizon 2?

      • +12

Considering this wheel is for PS4, I don't think Forza 6 or Horizon 2 will ever suit it :P

  • G29 has more buttons. It can be used on PC

    Its shifter is interchangeable with G25 and G27. I have a G25.

    • Shifter from g25 doesn't work with g920 so I assume it won't work for this. Different button layout I think. G27 shifter does though.

Picked this up today. $279 is ridiculous. Paid $499 for g920 a couple of weeks ago!

PC support is reportedly better on this model. G920s support was poor but is getting better.

    Bought the G29!

  • I just got the G920 (XBOX) for the same price!

    Thanks heaps for the post!!

  • Should i take the plunge or wait abit more? Anyone can comment on this wheel?

    • +2

It's a mildly upgraded g27 with brake mod pre installed and a few other minor additions.

Can only comment on g920 (haven't unboxed g29 yet!) but it feels solid. Satisfying feedback.
PC support as mentioned above for g920 was lacking but is getting better.

At $279 click and collect it's a no brainer if you have a ps4 and a Pc and play a racing sims. If you have an xbox one and pc get the 920. If your like me and have both, are playing racing sims like Forza, assetto corsa and project cars and are looking forward to the inevitable gt7 announcement for the end of next year, get both!

Have you managed to find a list of supported PC games fro the G920?

I only have some older racing games - and of those I've only managed to get Dirt 3 working successfully. Grid works except for the reasonably important function of steering!

        • That is the only thing holding me back from taking the plunge at the moment. I want to use it for quite a few PC racing games from the last ~6 years.

I am only using on PC, so I could get the G27. But with this deal it ends up being the same price as the G29. So I am in 2 minds about what to do.

I think at the moment the G27 is too expensive (considering how old it is). I think $200 would be a more reasonable price for the G27. I think my plan now is to get the G29, and hope someone brings out a driver to make older games just think it is a G27.

        • Unfortunately it's quite spotty. I've really only used dirt rally, project cars, assetto corsair on pc. They are only now coming good since the recent updates.

The mapping of the axis are all over the shop. Hence the issues. An x input remapping program may help? I use a hardware device, the cronusmax to manipulate it for other consoles with a little success.

I'm sure there will be a suitable program out there to convert the inputs.

      • cheers mate, I've never bought a wheel before so this will be the first ever! :)

  • would buy this only if i have already successfully sold my rarely used g27:(

  • Very tempting, great price. Good work Dick!!!

  • If this retails for $399 but has gone this low this quickly, does anyone think prices will drop this low once the Thrustmaster T150 hits? Definitely taking that over this, which is basically a G27 (that I already own) with PS4 support.

    • $499 RRP

  • Great deal that is offset by the greedy wheel stand sellers!

GTAart wheel stand was $168 yesterday. $219 today.!!

    • GTArt the best wheel stand? Am looking for one.

  • Just picked one up - with 3 sold in the last hour and the total number sold approaching 200, DSE are going to sell out soon I believe. Considering the G27 new is still around the $300 mark, I don't see this dropping much further. Do feel sorry for those who bought during earlier deals however.

  • After 3 days Still waiting for my order to be prepared.

  • My first ever racing wheel!! Can't wait!
