I know this forum has a hate/hate relationship for Beats, but the latest generation is meant to be actually pretty good for sound, and a quick search would have this as a pretty good price. Note also, that the link doesn't specifically mention this as the current generation, but the pictures (for the red and black ones) indicate it as so. The blue one listed on eBay looks like the previous gen.

  Have them. Love them. Great price for these cans which retail at $479. These are not the same crappy sound signature that Gen 1's were famous for. All I say is at least try it before you knock it.

  Source: me who has probably 10+ pairs of headphones inc bose, sennhi, audiotechnica, pioneer, marley, yamaha - yes I have a problem :)

  Surely one of the best wireless headphones i ever owned. Highly recommended if you are into good bass and quality.

    Thanks, just got a pair. I wish DS stocked the black/red colour. I love the Black/red combination. I got the matte black. Reviews are great from youtube and websites.

  Argh, I'd posted only as a hopefully helpful PSA, not intending to buy a pair as an owner of a pair of (1st gen) Parrot Zik's (also because of Ozb https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/160863), but with the additional price drop, I've ended up pulling the trigger now too :S

  Just so everyone is aware there is a blue pair available here. The picture is incorrect the model which I confirmed with Dick Smith yesterday before purchasing. The cans arrived today so can definitely guarantee they are beats studio wireless. Nice to have another colour alternative :)
