Super Hexagon is free game available again via redemption through the apple store.

Super Hexagon is a minimal action game by Terry Cavanagh, with music by Chipzel. Super Hexagon was a best of 2012 runner up for game of the year on the app store

This deal was posted previously and had expired due to redeption codes being maxed out, however it looks like they've added more codes. Original credit goes to tightarse.

Please note it is only free via the apple store and not directly via the app. Here's the steps to get the game.

  • If you havent already, download the Apple Store app here
  • In the app, click the 'Stores' icon at the bottom of screen
  • Scroll down to the very bottom to Apple Watch, then swipe left
  • Click the Super Hexagon icon and select 'Download now for free'

I recommend playing the game with the sound up!

    I'm glad it's free to try. I just downloaded it, played for a few minutes, recognised it is visually awful and then deleted it. I'm not sure how that was in the running for Best Game of 2012.

    My +ve vote is a reflection on the deal, not the gameplay.

    Point to add

    I did not have to scroll down to the bottom…
    - scroll down till you see the larger silver iwatch
    - swipe left
    - you will now see Super Hexagon page and then you click download
    - another page loads asking you to redeem your code… there is a code just below the first part of the screen… just click REDEEM in the upper right corner
    - next screen is checking the code
    - you will get a Redeem Successful and the app will start to download.
