just as I was heavily negged for reporting something similar, looks like its been over 6 months since this deal was published so not a dupe…. even though I agree with you :)

pretty much OzB 101, this "deal". Post it only if you're a noob

  • Has anyone ever actually paid for this?

Makes you wonder why they bother pretending it costs $90…

long time lurker should have known that this QFF is often (always) free :P

      quality not quantity ;)

      • pity most of the "popular" members here dont follow that rule

a constant flow of crap on the reg

  • +11

This it the normal price… NO bargain

  • Pretty sure next we will see someone posting that $10 off $60 Target clothing deal or that 10% off Masters deal. These are always there, but some people just never give up and keep posting that for fun I guess.

  • … or 5% off Woolworths Wish Gift Cards from Groupon. Oh, that's probably more like OzBargain 201.

    • you are not a true newbie until you post one of those daily Dick's deal!

  • Any quick answers: what do you get from it? Free miles?

    • +4

Bit of a scam to pay for this membership really..

    • +1

deal of the month …. NOT

    • its always been free with Woolies Everyday rewards

    • what type of noob pays 90 bucks for a qantas membership seriously?

BTW, put in an overseas address(any) and you'll get free membership

      • What kind of noob would even sign up to QFF regardless of price. Rip off merchants!!

        • A noob who knows how to churn credit cards…

        • @JohnHowardsEyebrows: Churning credit cards is bad for your credit rating. The more times you apply for a credit card it impacts your rating.

        • +1

@Firey1989: Credit ratings are overrated. :)

        • @JohnHowardsEyebrows: who cares what your credit rating is after you got your mortgage. When you need a mortgage, just get a broker to get shit done

        • @Firey1989: No such thing as a 'rating' here. You have a credit record, which only shows that you applied for credit and how much. If you can show a bank that you no longer use the card/cancelled the card, or that you have enough money to cover the maximums for all the cards, you'll have no issues. I churn cards often and have had zero knock backs.
