5x grey imports will probably become cheap fast too. $450 for this phone seems good compared to release price, but I remember people thinking that this phone was going to be released around this price. I also remember the shock at the price when it was released. Probably should have been around $500 to begin with. Really though, if you must have a nexus, then this isn't that bad buying.
I definitely was not counting on the release price to be so high on this phone..,,but I may wait for the 5x and 6p before making a return to Nexus

No of course not, sorry, it was just the way it was worded it made it sound like you were hoping the 5x/6p were going to be 'cheap' nexuses again.

That said, still a bargain hunter at heart so I am hoping that someone brings out a suitable alternative at a lower price.
Great phone with much improved battery life with the marshmallow update.
I wish they improve the camera on their next phone…..by quite some margin.
Haven't they done that? The 5x and 6pp are meant to be about the best smartphone cameras of all.
I really like the new nexus 6P features, the battery life and the fingerprint scanner. But i'm sure I wouldn't like the price. I don't know if this phone is any better than the new nexus 5X. Can anyone suggest which is better ? Specs wise I assume the nexus 6 is better than the new 5x, and the turbo charge is a added value. 3 hrs vs 6 hrs off 15 mins charge?
5x better camera and has a fingerprint scanner, nexus 6 with better screen (if not too big for you) and faster I think.

Well, Nexus 6 is quite massive, isn't it? And LG has a good support plus the bootloader is not locked on the 815 version. The camera is better as well. I like the leather back, too.
Bootloader not being locked is nice. I guess if there's a decent ASOP rom it wouldn't be too bad.
For the size of the Nexus 6, it's really not that much of an issue. With PieControls I can use it one handed no problem. Going from 5.5" to 5.97" was fine for me.
