  • Don't think the "Asus Ultrabook Series" reference is supposed to be there for this HP deal?

    • Has been amended :)

  • How much with 1 TB SSD ?

    • This unit doesn't come standard with a 1TB SSD but if you wanted to replace the 2TB HDD and swap it you can pickup a 1TB for around $500 and a 2TB can also be purchased for around $1000.

so would you take the cost of 2TB out and add 1TB SSD in. then price would be around ?

        • I wouldn't be able to, as the unit comes straight from the warehouse with the 2TB already installed.

        • 1tb ssd are pretty pricey!

  • SSD are just under $2 for each 1Mb…rough going rate…500Gb is ~$240-250…but, are getting cheaper with newer standards being released to improve speeds again…

    • Wow, thanks for the heads up. They are going to have to run a mega campaign to turn this around.

        No worries.

They don't even need to do anything out of the ordinary to turn things around. Basic customer service and transparency with their stock levels would go a long way to lessening the negative feedback.
