How about same price for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime, will sell in 1000 nos

    • It's really hard to go any lower than $10 or $20 for most phones as the profit being made would be $0.

      • A competitor has it for $240 - maybe see what you can do?
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/215676

After all, you do have a "Price Match' option on your site, but maybe you can beat it ;)

Your coupon for the below has expired anyway
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/214495?page=1

        • If you read my deal for the Prime you'll find that it's not expired.

        • @Clear:

"Sorry, the coupon code has expired. Please apply a new one". That's what I'm getting for white and 'gray'/black when I try to apply the code. In any case, can you beat/match your competitor's price?

        • @somethingguy: There is a big heading that says that the deal for the black one has expired, but the white one is on sale and the post links to it.

I will ask Geekbuying if they can beat or match their price.

        • @Clear:

Yes, I know, but the coupon says it is expired when I try to add it to the white model. Unless that's just on my end.

          Awesome, thanks.

        • @somethingguy: You don't need the coupon for the white version.

      • It was $169 to $171 before so thought will be possible. Thx anyway

        • I'm not saying it's impossible. I'm just saying it can be hard to go lower without hitting the point where the amount of profit made is close to nothing. I've asked GB if they can match or beat the price.

    JV is on the way.

    • thanks for the update LOL

  • +3

Why is OP's pic a combination of JV and TA?

    • +1

Used to be an upside down JV once, but he got upset, so I changed it to upside TA.

  • The good thing about this is 3gb ram. However I'd rather get xiaomi as they are better with updates and more reliable. The redmi note 2 is also a bit cheaper for the non-prime version.

  • Jv do you have any coupons for ulefone be touch 2

    • +2

Lets be Clear now, this is not JV.

    • It's already on sale, but I'll PM you a coupon with limited uses shortly.

      • +1

and i am looking for tablet as well with 3g if you can get it do let me know. :)

  • +1

This got some pretty good reviews being a very powerful unit, good quality and good specs etc. It probably is better than the Xiaomi Note 2 but will be lot less support with Custom ROMs etc.

  • Any other company I would buy,not geek buying, terrible customer service.

    • You already made the mistake last time of mixing up "Geekbuying" (this company) and "Gearbest" (the other one that everyone complains about on the shipping and service). So is it the same this time or you just labeling every dropship company (or those who start with the letter "G") to be all crap?

      • Just a troll in general. Check his post history.

  • Thanks for this. With the posting of about 12 smart phone offers this seems the one for me.

Camera size, OK at 5.5 inch, need to check if works on Westnet / yes optus piggy back ( I have a $20pm original plan with benefits ),

¿ is the operating system Is the operating system android 5 ? Why I ask the specs quote EUI based on android 5.

Thus I need a phone with good reception, easy email read and fair data speed, and good camera, don't need gaming but would use toys such as GPS.

Next step learn PayPal or just use credit card!

    • It is Android 5.0 and EUI is the name of the ROM/Interlace. Most other manufacturers have their own like Touchwiz in Samsung phones and Sense in HTC.

      • Thanks

  • Can I purchase this and ship to the Phillipines? I'm having a lot of trouble being able to purchase anything outside of Phil and bring it in. Mastercard is being declined at payment screens and/or paypal won't even let me choose Phil as an option.

    • +1

Yes. Geekbuying does ship to the Philippines.

  • +2

Kevan2 if you are buying here use PayPal alot safer

    • Thanks - leaning curve to mount.

  • -2

Bchliu I didn't get gearbest confused with this company I was talking about geekbuying cheers

    • +1

      grow up

  • +1

Awesome specs, USB type C and Sony camera alone beats the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime.

    • Aside from access to updates this outdoes the prime on all fronts?

      • Software is king for me and Xiaomi's MIUI wins hands down with their weekly updates.

  • +4

no micro SD card slot so memory would be limited to probably around 8-10 gb

    • Has otg but not very practical to use/mount/unmount.

  • -1

Is the 32gb in stock and for sale?

  • +1

There are some negative reviews for LetV One on the net . It has some issues regarding signal reception and some problems with GPS (I think it's a known problem with MTK's) but the signal problem issue and no micro SD card slot would be a matter of concern.

    • +1

There are plenty of articles online describing how to fix the known GPS bug in MTK chipsets. The signal issue has been fixed in an experimental ROM, so one of the later OTAs will fix that.

      • Thanks ' . To check that this phone can be used on the Westnet system should I ring them or would there be a better way?

Thanks as I so need a phone that does not fail - battery life 1 photo fail, turn on internet fail, boost starts itself even though closed but not removed, but the best part will multiple ring numbers, or send blank texts texts fixed with 360 installed.

        • If I'm not mistaken Westnet utilises the Optus network.

So the frequencies I have in bold should be the ones that Optus and Westnet support.

          3G: WCDMA B1/2/5/8; TD-SCDMA: B34/39
          4G: FDD-LTE B1/3/7, TDD-LTE:38/39/40/41

        • @Clear:

          Thanks

          Now to reactivate ebay.

also remembered from previous post [my apologizes to op that I couldn't recall or find poster or post]

          http://www.willmyphonework.net/

        • @Kevan2: I never knew about that site. It'll definitely help with future posts. Thanks.

        • @Clear: got one thanks. First adventure in this style of purchasing both store location payment pal. Exchange price +$9 but that's the market. Also spent US$ on insurance.

Pity I didn't do this when Australia was keeping US and China afloat with imports when GFC was in full swing. In reality those countries should be giving us an Aussie discount.

By the way the position of the au dollar is some what contrived as our dollar is still one of the most traded currency.

  • Yesterday. The phone arrived yesterday. The both set of instructions are in manderin. In package phone, charging cable and au plug (it is not micro USB plug just a little larger . Must be careful not to loose), the cable in cylinder case .very nice. 2 set of instructions, card with sim pin.

Now to chase up instruction or op do have another suggestion thanks.

    • Should be as simple as putting in the sim card and turning it on.

      • Thanks on it now. Geekbuying via Facebook messaging last post from them = Hi friend, we have helped you transfer , please don't worry.

This was a follow From order Number request,
