  I've read that the 1TB PS4 is just recycling the old PS4 hardware so i beloeve the answer is no. The newer version should come in 500GB only atm

      well i got the wii u basic half price (dse clean out a while ago) and i still feel pissed with the new console annoucement … i'm a long time Nintendo fan but i personally don't think anyone should buy a wii u … even if its half price .. at the most it has 1 year left and possible 1 year after that if Nintendo gives a crap about the fans .. dev kits for the NX have already been sent out… in saying that i highly doubt i'll buy the NX unless they have a trade in/buy back offer for the wii U.. lol ..

Say I didn't want any of these games, could I negotiate with JB or another retailer to swap a game or two for ones of equal value? Would I have to wait until the deal starts on Thursday? I'll give it a go on Thursday, just wondering if it is worth trying earlier than that.

Checked with EB and they are happy to match the price of Big W and also I can trade in the games if I don't want them. And yes the system is the new model (power saving).

Popped into Big W and EB games today (Ringwood, Vic)
The deals comes out on Friday @ Big W - no you can't purchase before and pick up after, can only purchase on the day. No you can't change the games in the pack.

EB games -> as a policy they don't price match bundles, but can match games and consoles individually, they are bringing out their own bundle on Friday as well and will be similarly priced, if more and has similar/same games they will price match the Big W bundle.

      Been getting pretty disappointed in them over last 2-3 years, used to go there a lot to get things - decent service, staff friendly and helpful. Now a days, the staff don't seem to care, takes ages to get served, they don't know what they're talking about half the time, and prices and deals are pretty crap.
      Its a shame as it used to be the go to shop - and criteria with wife when were looking for houses was there has to be a Jbhifi within a certain radius. But in a commercial world only way to show your dissatisfaction is to act with your feet/wallet. At moment Jb would be one of the last on list of places I'd check for deals or products.

The two stores I spoke to in Sydney said they had about half a dozen calls already and made it out that based on that interest they're going to run out of stock quickly. 6 calls isn't much.   Depends how desperate you are I guess. Things to consider are probable low stock levels for this deal. Also new bundles will come out towards Christmas that may present better value, or at the least different/better games depending on your preferences
