perhaps the best value low usage plan currently available?

    • good for people who only use data on exceptions. I used to be like that. Managed with 100mb data. Only used if for the occasional google search, and google mapsideon.

Although these days most smart phones chew through data if you are not careful.

  • Per MB counting is the biggest trap.

    • at least better than counting on Per KB

        how so?

        • better for phone company… lol

    • deal updated:

Excess data charges are 4c per MB (Data is counted in kilobytes)

  • Why not pony up another 6.5$ and go on boosts 20 cap
    150 mb… I had more data in 2005

    • boost $20 = 44% more expensive

      also 100min instead of 250min :(

      this is ozbargain

      not ponyluxury

  • These guys are cheaper, Maybe better value https://www.thinkmobile.com.au/plans/swift-plans/ and not sure if they are any good?

    • $12 = $200 value + 200mb data => not better value :(

      • Is better value for low use users by $1.88 if you don't use all $12.

  • will have to see how they compare to yatango..

      it shall be a salsa

  • Believe ltE is the deal voider here :(
what is there to Evolve out of .1GB 'net? $40metering is what

I have phones which came with bundled Netflix gift-voucher months, on the otherwise dumb, $1-days prepay Optus. - $30 was $5 after brief grocery shop from Coles; & still going strong the rate of $0.83c-per-month :).

I expect standard voice calls have always been Optus’ strong suit. So for $15 or $5 I'll stick with the branded sim pack providing <1.1GB & ~900 mins to spread out over SIX month a month.

  • This works out very cheap if you are a low user. About 1.5c per minute/sms/mb. If you need more of any not worth it as it will be quite pricey.
150mb would be good only for whatsapp, you might need to turn off many other settings

  • That excess rate comes out lower. Or, would it be a hint to switch all "9.3c/MB" off altogether? (naw)

1.5c/MB/minute AFAIK only possible with Optus direct. -$1 [$0.50] My Pre'd for those sessions you use anyway. (No $83.28 after 6 paymentcycles tho ;)
