Twin Pack Ice Bricks [Small $1.50] [Large $2.00] @ Bunnings Oxley

100

Hey Guys with #Summer2015 soon! I thought I would mention that Bunnings at Oxley have a great price on ice bricks!

They are cheap as well, I know it's just water in a plastic container or special water but at this price it's a good deal!

Plenty of stock unsure if it's nation wide, you will find these near the self serve checkouts they had a full pallet when I checked today

Two different options to pick from
Small 2x 200ml ($1.50)
Large 2x 400ml ($2.00)
Receipt if your local doesn't do it they might price match it? http://imgur.com/I7PwiMH

Product says to freeze for 10hrs before using em :)

  • Could you post an invoice so we can price match if locally different price?

  • Probably a good comparison here, https://www.masters.com.au/product/100919225/willow-ice-bric… $7.50 for 3x 150ml

I find these bricks in my experience split and then start slowly leaking.

What I tend to do these days is save 1L and 2L juice bottles - fill them 3/4 and freeze - that solid ice then stays cold for ages!

    • I've had 10 Kmart bricks for about 3 years, never had an issue with any of them. Lucky I guess :)

I use 1 litre UHT milk or juice cartons. More space-efficient. Quite tough, and you can drink it after they thaw :-)

      • I agree - I like how if I freeze my own, once the ice bottles start to melt, I can drink the water - great for road trips!

  • That's normal price… I bought the Large 2x 400ml for $0.50 few weeks ago

    • whaaaaa

  • +1

can confirm this is nation wide
    edit: and a promotion

    • Good because I don't know where Oxley is.

      • Brisbane :D
