        Bulky, yes, but functionality and features are far superior to the OP's DVR. I own one and find it is completely amazing. You can watch the video and have google maps right there showing you your exact location, on or off roads. I get around 10 hours on a 32GB card @ 1080p and you can use microsd cards with an adaptor, ( it takes a standard size card).

        The GPS and stats is for reviewing the footage…. ever been reviewing one of your dashcam recordings and can't recall the exact spot that something was at? That is what the GPS is used for. It also removes any argument with insurance over the exact location of an incident.

        At the price it would want to make me coffee… I am a little shocked that it only does 30fps, compared to 60fps @ 1920 x 1080 for the navig8tr.

        I am not knocking it, but it does appear to be overpriced in comparison to ability and features is all.

      I have the 2nd one as my rear Cam and it is a great camera. It has given me less problems than I have had with my front DR500 Blackvue
