  • You might want to add the coupon into the coupon section so it appears.

    • Done, thanks.

  • Nice, thanks.

  • Guys, can this be price matched in a target store ?

    • Don't think so, but you can try. Anyway, why not get it delivered for free, easy and quick.

      • Wanted it now, didn't want to wait till friday at latest. Procrastination woes.

  • Just bought some Japanese import one with ads for $200 with bonus $100 eBay voucher yesterday and no warranty :(((((

    • +1

If they haven't shipped you technically could politely request that they cancel, and you buy this one. Mileage may vary based on seller.

      • Cool. Might contact them.

  • Darn, I got the ad supported one for $134 from eglobal the other day…

    • Is this one ad free?

      • Google it… the ad supported one is actually the more popular.

It's sounds weird but its true. The no ad version simply shows portraits of authors on screen saver mode, nothing else.
That's going to get boring real quick, and apparently the deals/ads that come up on the Kindle are exclusive to the device owners.

    • Jump on Amazon's live chat and mention that because you are in Australia you are unable to redeem the offers on the ads. They should remove the ads for you free of charge. I did this a few months ago with a Kindle Voyage i imported from the states and it took about 2 minutes; just had to unlock and relock my kindle and the ads were gone.

  • It's sold out anyway

    • oh darn!

Never mind, i'm sure another one will popup before christmas.

    NOOOOOooooooooo

  • How much are these normally?

    • +1

Sold out now. But normally $199 retail. But they've dropped to $130-140 a few times now.

    • I paid $139.30 during Dick Smith 30% off sale last month.

  • Some people broden them. I see people at least 3 people bought 20-22 per purchase. Either they have 20 cousins each or… Lucky I was able to grab 1 as I was eyeing this model for awhile.

    • Even better, one person bought 47 (22, 20 and 5)

      • First I missed the DS sale, now this.. thanks to whoever scooped them all up -_-

  • Wow, amazing price from great local seller. Just bought one from eBay seller (Metro) for $230, who never bother answering my emails. Another lesson, patience is virtue, patience will get rewards.

  • Excellent price. I paid $139.30 during September at DS 30% off. Also bought the leather case for about $43. You can buy coloured vinyl ones for abouf $11 on ebay if you prefer. Great product; perfect for my mother with macular degeneration vision problems. Great clarity, brightness, font and size adjustments.

Edit: Sold out; not surprised but feel sure there will be more sales to come.

  • So the new one is coming out in November though yeah?

    • I think there's only meant to be a new Kindle Voyage.

  • Great I just bought it for $200 yesterday to get the $100 CB.

I could have bought something else instead for the CB voucher and waited till today.

  • Keen to see this is in stock again before deal finishes

  • Missed the kindle deal again…

  • I too missed again.
Can I set up a kindle thread notification?

    Edit.
I think I've worked it out.

  • has anybody who purchased received any notification about this shipping/being processed?

I haven't heard a thing so the paranoid part of me wonders if they've found they don't have stock (I think i was also the last person to get one). Which is fine, but I'd like to know so I could purchase from e.g. dick smith instead of being strung along needlessly
