A good wine cellar for the in-laws. They will think you have spent a fortune on them for Christmas when really you spent under $30.

Good for storing goon and cheap wine for those lazy weekends or just everyday - student life.

Also just to post this wine cellar to any address is probably costing Target around $20 with the high prices Australia post charges…

    Says 12 months in description:

EA Access 12 month subscription (digital download): With selected Xbox One consoles from Target, we‘ll give you 12 months EA Access completely free. This subscription ends after 12 months and will not be automatically renewed. If you like to keep enjoying the advantages of EA Access, you can renew your subscription at the normal rate at: www.ea.com/eaaccess. With EA Access, you get access to a constantly updated library of blockbuster games including Titanfall, Battlefield 4, FIFA 15 and more All you have to do is download to get started. To cancel the subscription, please go to your Xbox.com Account Page and follow the links at the bottom of the page.

    • Refer to the Target website for this listing

It pretty much guarantees it will be one month EA Access. It must just have been a typo when transferring between the 500GB and 1TB bundles.

      • +3

Have printed out their listing if it comes with 1 month I will email them a copy! By consumer laws if it is their mistake they have to correct it i.e. give you the 12 months.

        • +1

Ok will contact them via eBay to confirm this.

        • @ShamelessBargains: tell us what they say

        • @Amberdbrickell any chance you can send me a copy of the listing you have cause i am in contact with them and it will help my case with finding out

        • @JezzaC96: Will do, says they take 1-2 business days to respond unfortunately…

        • +1

          @JezzaC96:

Interesting but they have changed it online but I printed it out before they did it and also saved a copy of it….

        • @ShamelessBargains: Yea but they normally reply the night you send it and normally are very understanding and will assist however needed. So it should all work out i will be pretty annoyed if its not 12 months cause i was gonna buy the 1tb bundle but decided this was better value

        • +1

          @JezzaC96:

          Messaged both of you.

        • +1

          Or they give you refund……

        • please please PM it to me!

        • Same case for me. I thought it's 12 month one.

Can you please send me a copy?
          Thanks!

        • @JezzaC96: I agree. I chose this bundle over the 1tb edition as i believed it was a better deal… Only to find out they changed the description after i had purchased :'(

        • @slosh: yea i lucky screenshot everything to send to a friend so i have it still saying otherwise so hopefully when they bother to reply to me i can win this 12 months

        • @JezzaC96: Is it all good if you let me know what they say as well? I'm really curious :")

        • Can you please send me a copy as well thanks mate :)

      • +1

I've purchased the item, and don't really care about the one month or twelve month difference; however if they advertise with the 12 month code on their ebay page, where I purchased the item from; it's irrelevant what they say on their own website.

        • +1

Yeah that's fair enough. Hopefully they will message me back soon and confirm whether it's 1 month or 12 month.

I am just assuming their listings on the normal Target website are the same on the eBay store. Hopefully I am wrong :)

I don't like misleading Ozbargainers when posting up deals.

        • +1

          @ShamelessBargains:
Haha yeah not your fault mate. As I said 1 or 12 months doesn't even matter; at that price it's all good. Thanks for posting the deal!

        • +1

@pharcyde: You are welcome, enjoy your new console :)

    • +1

IF it is a mistake, then they are in their rights to change, just as you are within in your rights to cancel. They won't have to honour the 12 months. They can change it, if it was an error, but then you can also cancel your order and be issued a refund immediately.

      • are you sure they can just cancel a contract by saying oh we made an error?
catalogue listings maybe but once paid for thats a sealed contract.

        • Not a sealed contract as error's are made. They are entitled to change it, but you can then ask for a refund. They don't have to honour anything really.

I hope the people who got it when it said 12 months, get it, but I doubt they will.

        • -1

@butterbuts: Its false avertisment. If they knownly did it then thats fraud.
Not reading your auction discripton through before posting is not a good enough excuse and does not hold up in court.

"It makes no difference whether the business intended to mislead you or not. If the overall impression left by a business’s advertisement, promotion, quotation, statement or other representation creates a misleading impression in your mind—such as to the price, value or the quality of any goods and services—then the behaviour is likely to breach the law."

          https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/misleading-claims-advertis…

        • @Jarr0d: The issue is if they are able to resolve it by providing 12 month codes, they arent going and picking an xbox, a copy of fifa and a 1 month code off the shelf. These are coming packed from microsoft, so they may not have a stockpile of 12 months to provide. That leaves refund or a voucher.

        • @Jarr0d:

If they know they did it, then yes fraud. If an accident, then no, not fraud and they are well within their rights to change it, just as you can then turn around and cancel.

Good luck to anyone pressing to have stuff like this looked at because it is not worth the hassle.

Had people bought and then walked out of the shop, then they can't stop you and say hang on. In this case as people ordered and Target have to ship, they can give option to cancel.

Looks like Target are giving people the 12 month card though, so good on them :)

    • did they change it? says 1 month wherever i look, on purchase receipt, ebay listing etc

  • Can xbox one be used as HTPC to stream videos from a NAS drive? If yes and if it supports most of the formats (which I doubt), It will be pretty good.

OP: you changed the description to say 1 month EA access. Is the deal still good? I thought to sell both game and EA access. as It says in the description, I wont accept it if it is 1 month access only.

    • +1

      Yes.

You can set your XB1 to detect media files via network. The XB1 interface is a little clunky, however, you can get all sorts of programs for your NAS/phone apps to make it a more friendly experience.

Edit: XB1 can play most common formats (http://support.xbox.com/en-AU/xbox-one/system/media-player-f…)

      • Thanks. Can hold on now to get a NUC.

  • Do you still have to buy xbox live subscription (12 month)

  • +1

Thanks ShamelessBargains !! Just brought one for my daughters 10th Birthday.

  • +1

    Wow. 362 Xbox bundles sold!!

    • That's an amazing figure. Well I wouldn't mind one under the Christmas tree haha

  • Anyone know how I can go about getting a refund?

Only reason I wanted this is for the 12 months EA access, without it its not a good deal for me anymore

    • +2

      please tell me you're joking….

      • not joking at all, would not have bought it if not for the $35~ difference in the EA access subscription which I could gift to someone.

It's a 'good' deal with just Fifa 16 but nothing mind blowing

        • +3

          nice try EB games!

        • oh I just read the other comments about the 12 month vs 1 month… Ok yeah i see your point now -_-

        • @drogba:

          nice try Target

Invoice generated for 321.75 however my PayPal account is charged 429 can anyone help why is that so?

    • My invoice from PayPal says $421 then below that it has a discount with the total being $321.75.

      • yeah same in my case but my Paypal account statement shows 421 charged not sure if I will get 107.25 back in PayPal account?

        • Hmm mines linked to my Credit Card. I'd contact paypal and find out.

        • +2

PayPal charges $429 from your PayPal account. $107.25 is used as a funding source and the remaining $329 comes from your bank account

        • @zelda707: mine says - $429 too. how to i get the money back?

        • +1

@xEnt: Did you read the comment you replied to? You don't get the money "back" as you never gave it in the first place. PayPal is charged $429, PayPal charges you $321, and uses the discount for the remainder. That's it.

        • @johnno07: my bad all good

  • Was gonna wait for a PS4 but looks like I'm going Xbox :)

  • Thanks for sharing this great deal!
Would you guys pay the extra $$ for the elite console bundle instead?

  • +1

Oh if you go to the listing and look for The listing below has been updated by the seller, but you can see the item you purchased"click on it and it will bring up the original listing with the stated 12 month access!

  • Is it worth the upgrade to the Xbox One if I have the Xbox 360.

    • If you want to play newer games - yes. I got mine mainly for Halo initially. Bought the Halo game last night and now have 2 copies of the game thanks to the Halo 5 console.

    • Xbox One is amazing, playing Wolfenstein: The New Order on there right now, runs silky smooth 60fps and looks AMAZING, the 360 cant come close to this sort of visual fidelity and performance!

      • +1

Even just running things like Netflix and Hulu is so much nicer on the Xbox One.

Never realised how slow the 360 was until i upgraded.

  • +1

Hi JezzaC96, are you able to send me the printed screen as i also purchased 500GB unit believing it was 12 month subscription. thanks again.

  • 3.08pm (AEDT) 503 sold
    More than 93% sold
    26 inquiries

  • aaaaaaaand its gone.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Just purchased nearly the last one out of the 534 available. It showed 99% sold when I purchased mine and then back to check and said 0/534 available!!

    • +1

      I got the 2nd last ;)

  • What's a good tv to play a console on? Is it fine to just play console with monitor?

  • +1

    Halo 5 SOLD OUT @ 200 Units.

  • Interesting to see the sales volume of the various consoles.

I know it depends a lot on the perceived value of the deal - but also it suggests the popularity of the console.

In this sale, it appears XBOX One is the BIG seller. PS4 is solid and the poor old Wii U is struggling, even at 25% off…

    I have to say I wanted a PS4 - but I don't want uncharted and I do want a C-Chassis. I wish they'd put up a better PS4 bundle…

    • +1

I think you'll find most people bought the Wii U when it was sub $200.

      • Yeah exactly it was 179 with the skylanders bundle last year.

        • Yep, that's when I got mine.

      • yes I am holding off - especially as new wii should be coming out next year

  • +1

Got myself a second XBOX, now the kids can't take over my xbox time! Great timing as I picked up halo 5 this morning :)

    Thanks for the post! :)

    • Glad I could help, enjoy your extra Xbox time :)

  • +1

Wii u out of stock now. 129 sold though!

    • Check the guitar hero wiiu price too if u buy a wiiu, its 81aus.. cheapest price in the world I think

  • +1

Dam, i got the console but missed halo 5.

  • damn… i got nothing. Thanks work.

  • The 'NEW Xbox One 1TB Console & Halo The Master Chief Game' for $375 still seems like a good deal tho? THought?

  • Stupid question, but what does the new c-chassis ps4 have over the older version? why the ozb love for this model ?
    thanks

    • +1

Slightly lower power draw (around 30w less) but a lot quieter fan. Buttons are clicky instead of capacative, and it's no longer glossy. RAM has changed to make it slightly cooler, as well as the port layout, but otherwise the noise is what you want it for (or lack thereof).

      • thought the new one was warmer because of the lower fan speeds?

        Edit: Yep found it here

  • "Wii U Premium Mario Maker Console for $299.25 Delivered @ Target eBay" in stock as of now!

  • +2

The Wii U shouldn't cost more then $199 as it is. I expect the price to drop further considering the new console will probably drop by the end of next year.

  • Finding it hard to resist, but I still am. There just isn't enough in the new generation consoles apart from Halo 5 and Uncharted 4 to make me bite (as a PC Gamer). Wii U is a better prospect but at $300 (with a good game mind you) it's still not hitting great value territory.

I'll hold for even better deals methinks. Lots of PC gaming to do in the meantime.

If the eBay voucher's were available from click'n'collect… well that would be a different story.

  • (profanity) im always late

  • Oh bloody hell, there was no Xbox One controller this morning so I didn't bother buying anything, looks like they added it during the day and now it's sold out. Just my luck..
