Any idea how much data that credit gives mate?

    • +2
      • $40 combo plan = 3GB Data
      • $50 combo Plan = 4GB Data

Get up to 1GB free data every time you recharge your Combo online with a credit card, PayPal or recharge by TXT.

Assuming recharge by TXT is when you use your voucher via a text message

      Prepaid Mobile Broadband:

      • $40 recharge gets you 4.5GB
      • $50 recharge gets you 6GB
      • Pretty good deal buying one thanks EC

  • Good deal OP,just wondering though what if you're an existing VF prepaid customer with existing sim, does the recharge voucher work with your existing sim or do you need to port your number over to new sim card?

    • recharge voucher should be generic and can be used on any existing prepaid service . I have never come across a recharge voucher that is tied to a SIM card

    • Fine Print:
Valid for new Vodafone customers only: read Vodafone terms

      • but the recharge voucher is generic

good expiry date? the one i got from woolies last time only 6 months i think

  • There's also this deal at Woolworths $30 for $10 which may be better for some people (and it's NOT Groupon ;)

    • Your comparing apples with oranges. Woolowrths is a prepaid pack.

This deal is for a SIM with a recharge voucher

  • Thanks OP. Got one. !

Can you select what plan you want for e.g. i want the 365 day expiry one rather than the monthly cap plan

    • I have the same question, as my $30 plan is more than enough for me (and I have been with them for years, so I can use my credits to purchase data instead of real $$).

My theory is that you can, but any excess amount (say for my $30 plan would be the $10 remaining) would become your credit (which is pretty lame because I get $450 credit for a $30 plan, and it would only become $460). But still a good bargain as $17 is still the cheapest I could get for a $30< recharge voucher.

Let me know if this is incorrect, happy to stand corrected.

    • I think its only for the $40/$50 combo credit, so I guess you won't be able to choose the 365 day plan.

  • would this work with the wifi modem deal that was circulating a month or two ago?

  • Any ideas on the recharge expiry dates?

Edit: I'm an idiot, site says Feb 2016.

Be Warned: This Might be their prepaid starter pack, then you cannot transfer the credits to another number

just pay with paypal. if you dont get the product as described, you can dispute it

  • It says the SIM and credit are separate…the instructions make it sound like it's a $2 starter SIM with a recharge voucher that needs to be added after activation.

  • Plans separate than account value won't be news elsewhere. While ever my plan credit gets reduced at every add on in old VF extras.

Oh and something about a middleman does not gel - when you need cash voda _- you sell your ad direct.

I received mine today. Can confirm the package has the following:

Multi-fit SIM (standard and micro) $2 Starter pack
    Nano-SIM $2 starter pack
$50 recharge scratch voucher (old-fashioned!)…it's a credit-card sized card with a scratch-off code on the back

Expiry for recharge is August 2016
