they said that the promo ends Feb 9th 2016… so you need to use the promo before that date, eg if you activate the sim Feb 8th u will only get 1 month out of the 3..
Did you mean the extra 2 months will be lost if the SIM is activated after 9 Feb (i.e. from 10 Feb onward) but not if it's activated anytime up to 9 Feb?

Yes. Probably too late unless you already bought it but yes that's how it works. At least that's what I did. I bought this offer back in November to port my number, and only just ported over and activated the SIM today, and I've confirmed on live chat that (as long as you leave auto-renew turned on) it will give 3 full months (i.e. it will magically auto-renew twice without payment) from the date of activation. HTH.
Tried this morning, seems the code is no longer working.
Can you automatically switch to BPAY once you've ordered, or do you have to wait until you get the sim.
Warning/Note/Info for those of us who were being cautious and switched off auto-renew … DO NOT TURN OFF AUTO-RENEW or it will confuse the system and won't be able to give you your second/third month on this deal. If you have, log in now before your month is up and change it back to auto-renew!
Changing the payment method to BPAY is fine, just not the auto-renew setting. It needs to be turned on so they can auto-renew your plan (without charge) and give you the second and third months as part of this deal. At least that what I was told. It means we all need to set a reminder in early-late~Feburary - once you're into your third month log in and change auto-renew off but not before.

Last month I made sure to check that I would get the 3 months from the date of porting.

ok so to confirm, 1) the "valid until" date can be ignored, that was just for activating/porting my number over and I have the full 90 days/3 months from today, date of port.

And as you can see above, my initial query was to confirm that I would still get 3 months even though I only activated the SIM today. For those of us who have waited to activate/port our number over, there's no rush. You're still going to get the full 3 months, the "valid until" date is just a limit on how long you could wait with the SIM unactivated. You should be right to delay activation any time until early Feburary (whatever it says on your account). Hope that helps someone.
I thought it's $10 per month for the first 3 months but today I got the receipt for the second month and they didn't charge me anything. The receipt's discount part clearly states $10 for 3 months of Unlimited 5GB. Sweet!!!
I turned "auto renew" off as I was trying to play it safe but my SIMs stopped working today. A quick online chat with Amaysim fixed it and I'm back online.
Strange question. Notice says 4G Enabled service. Will this service drop to 3G if you use a 3G only device like a hotspot device?
They're implying it is all enabled really. Just painting their differences against VodoLebarafone(solo 3G) AFAIK
Yikes, just noticed today I'm on AS YOU GO rather than the 5GB Unlimited plan due to disabling Auto-Renew.
PROBLEM SOLVED
Okay it turns out you just need to login, > My Plan & Data > Change Plan > UNLIMITED 5GB (making sure you don't pick 5GB PLUS) > Next > Next
It doesn't charge you anything despite suggesting it will. And your additional months will start from today, not the original roll-over date. Auto-Renew automatically re-enables so ensure you have a reminder in place to disable it at some point in your 3rd month.
I think you have 21 days to correct this using the above method or you'll lose it for good. I was at 18 days so lucky I got onto it. I had been using another sim and didn't realise.
