So which one of those is supposed to be an 'EPIC' deal?

    • The pie is good value.

      • +1

        yes.. approximately 3.14

        • +1

And goodluck to those university students doing exams….

    • Pretty sure the twisties are a 7/11 exclusive. EPIC. Good call!

      • The twisties sour were $2 anyway.

        • Sour Twisties will always be "EPIC". ;)

But point taken, whether they are an 'epic deal' is something else entirely considering it does seem to be the standard price.

    • +9

It's epic because they don't have to pay their staff a wage

  • +34

    I was waiting for-

    $4
The amount we pay our staff per hour.

  • +1

It's Bundaberg Varieties, not just Ginger Beer.

The Thank You water is good value for its charitable impact.

    • +3

I'm guessing "livable wage for our 7/11 staff" is not one of the participating charities?

Just for whoever cares, you can also get 53g Mars Bars for $1 at Coles this week.

    • mother 4 pack $5.47

      • The 500mls?

  • $2 Connoisseur/Nudie juice is pretty good. Has anyone tried the pie, any good?? Aand Twisties sour wow what do they taste like lol, worth the calories?

Also just FYI Ive noticed at the Coles/Shell servo near me for a while now theyve had $1 Pepsi etc cans, think its a permanent deal, pretty good deal :)
Edit: Yep confirmed is permanent/ongoing deal - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/218840

Nah, don't waste money on twistie sour, it taste like pine-o-clean wipes, haven't seen anyone tasted it and like it.

      • Haha lol thanks yeah might not waste the money then

      • Wow.. you tasted Pine-o-clean wipes?

      • They taste like lime. Which is one of my favourite flavours. I'm confused as to whether I like them or not, because they are "citrus-acidicly" slightly sour.

    • When i went into coles express the other day and it was more than pepsi/water for $1. The 250ml cokes were a buck and so were the 250ml mothers

Damn cheap for a servo :)

Looks like the low wages are subsiding these 'epic' deals.

    • +4

Yeah kind of feel bad I guess. For every deal purchased a 7/11 worker goes hungry

      • thankyou water=take away food from 7/11 workers to provide water for underdeveloped countries

  • Twisties sour are actually really good, but you can't just have one of them !

    • Really? I'll eat pretty much anything but these are even too much for me. Oh the sours.

  • "Epic Deals" - $1 Mars/Skittles

Aren't these 84 cents at Woolies and Coles ?

  • There's also Thank You bars are $1, that's a really good deal.

  • Don't have 7/11 in SA but we have "On The Run" (lol) anyhoo, am I the only one that thinks one should take a Food Hamper and a Blanket to comfort the Console Operator at 7/11's?

  • I tried the pie today. I would say it's fair value. You can only get the beef pie despite there being other pies. The 7-11 I went to had plenty of stock at 9PM. I would say it's more of a snack than a satisfying meal. If you were thinking of having it for lunch, you'd be left wanting. Free sauce was handy at this price point too.

Still can't go past the Coles bakery double pizza slice pack for $2.50. Chuck in the microwave for 30 seconds and you have a filling lunch. Three flavours to choose from.
