  • +1

hmmm are they overear? the pic looks like they are onear.

    • yep, need pretty small ears for these to go over them!

    • -1

      Yep, on ear.

  • Wonder how they compare to the 'classic' Logitech UE6000

    • good find @cjb. Anyone used accessoryjack.com ? Are the parts legit? As in not copy?

    • nope, i believe you are mistaken cjp referring different HP model here; DS was selling out model MDR-ZX110NC noise cancellation one's — unfortunately all sold out. Same model is available @ accessoryjack of $57.19 without shipping.

  • I picked up a pair of these for a higher price at the airport for the flight and have found them pretty decent for the price. The fold up, so are great for travelling and did a good job of cancelling out the cabin noise.

    • ah great - do they cover the ear? It's exactly what I was looking for - something for the cabin noise.

      • +2

No, they are on-ear, so required a bit of moving around to find the "sweet spot", but the options at the airport were limited and very spendy :D I have definitely gotten $59 usage out of them on two flights considering a bought a crappy neck pillow for $20 and it started leaking styrofoam balls everywhere after a slick nick …

        • lol @ crappy neck pillow. ahhhh i've been there lol.

  • -7

ok…I have to dis these again 'cause spec's sound so krap.

    30mm dynamic driver (40mm standard I think/essential)
    Stereo Sound No (lol)

Does anybody actually care about good sound these days? No (Cheap Rules)
I HAVE NOT TRIED THESE HEADPHONES - thanks for the negs ;)

    Overeat noise cancelling? Whaaaaaaat?

  • Bugger! Just bought one from officeworks 2 days ago! For $94!

They're good for $59! But just a heads up, when you're not using the NC feature the sound quality is crap! Other than that it's a great cheap NC headphones!

As far for the NC, it's not as good as Bose QC25, but you can hear the difference with NC and without NC. but for $59 it's a deal!!

Note: JB Hifi got them special $99… If I'm not mistaken.

    • You can buy again from DS and return the new one to OW.

      • Thought about that, but driving to and from and it's too much effort for $30. But thanks :-)

  • What are they like? $59 seems pretty cheap for Noise Cancelling earphones..

  • +2

Hey guys. Just a quick review.

    Really only a TL;DR version:

These are horrible. I bought and returned the same week after less than 2 days.

The sound quality is actually fine, but the noise cancelling doesn't really "cancel" noise like the BOSE ones I use.

Just don't expect a lot for the price.

    • What's the cost of your Bose headphones?

      • I agree on the cost, absolutely. But if something doesn't work and the only thing going for it is that it's cheap, then I'd rather look elsewhere.

My point is to tell people not to get these for noise cancellation because it's not good, that's all.

    • i have to admit. i tried the Bose ones in store. amazing. they were the noise cancelling 25 model.

  • These can be had for about $43aud delivered from the USA on ebay
