Are there limits on how long you can stay for?, i've never really understood how these online bookings work.

no limits on days as both ways are independent to each other. To get the advertised fare, one must book for travel within the dates, and also try choosing offpeak days as normally the peak days are blacked out for obvious reason.

nice to see them quoting a price that includes surcharges and 'taxes'.

it should be illegal to advertise prices that are not what you end up paying.

Oh one more thing. This is a flight combo of MELBOURNE-DARWIN-SINGAPORE. That means the flight stops in darwin, you have to take your luggage and check in again in Darwin for the flight to Singapore. In this case, your immigration will be in Darwin, not Melbourne.
