I was in WA store last night and bought the keyboard and mouse for $40. None left in Midland store. I bought the last one.

May be it is available in other stores too.

I will post the docket in 3 hours.

Most likely they will have limited stock. removed expiry. finders are winners for this one :p as on website its full price.

It's showing as $79 on the website with plenty of stock at a few stores around me, so I think this would be a store specific offer and hence as you said, there's none left there so the deal should be marked as expired?

    • i didn't know they do store only deals. I have expired the deal.

      • It may not be just that one store, but I've found unless it's listed for the same price 'on clearance' on the website it usually is just a store only deal sort of thing. I would keep it active though and see if anyone else has luck finding it for that price, only issue is people will have to go in store to see so it could be a bit if a lottery.

If there was still stock left at Midland it wouldn't be an issue, but as you said you grabbed the last one there.

  • Is is a 3000 v2.0?

    • yes v2.0

Wait for January and the Microsoft cash back promotion.

Keyboard and mouse combos for $4 after cash back.

    • woohoo $4! well too late for me now.

    • Yeah and the webcams they paid me to take last year $14.95 (was marked $5 on the shelf)

  • As far as wireless keyboards and mice go this set isn't that great. The mouse chews through batteries. It also has a low cut of voltage, so the mouse will stop working once the battery voltage dropped below about ~1.3v (from memory). So it will complain about the batteries being flat even though they have more life in them. This low cut off voltage also means you are limited in what battery types you can use. NiMh are typically 1.2v which means the piles of Eneloops ozbargainers have are likely useless in the mouse.

Keyboard is fine though, but lacks caps/num/scroll lock lights.
