    • Register first and apply coupon. Yes it works for me now =P

  • Can somebody tell me why Telephone no is saying invalid?

  • still working at 9.30

  • Not working.. Note: Required for courier delivery. Invalid phone# may cause delays on expected delivery time.

  • +2

Worked for me. The delivery also changed to Australia Post (rather than USPS) once I filled out my details.

    Cheers OP!

Getting the error when I click "Place order":

SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry '14382-0-1' for key 'PRIMARY'

Then I can't apply the voucher code again:

Coupon code "NOV10000CP3" has expired or login required.

    • Check your email. It may have gone through.

      • Edit: Actually, it did go through. It is processing under My Orders. Email might be a little slow.

        Thanks!

  • +1

Order seemed to go through ok for an iPhone 5 protector. I usually use plastic screen protectors as I like how thin they are, but looking forward to giving a tempered glass one a try at no cost. Thanks to uwishbillyfish and Zapals.

Out of curiousity, do glass protectors cause more or less internal reflections/refraction compared to plastic film?

  • +1

perfect timing. mine just broke! thanks OP.

  • +1

Thanks OP! Ordered one for my wife and I..:)

  • after processing status, I get "Address Error" that's weird, I put everything in valid, anyone else getting this error?

    • Another user did and messaged me thinking I was associated with the store. This might help though http://www.zapals.com/contact-us/.

    • I did that and I think it was an auto fill issue with the state being '12'. Worked when I tried again.

  • +1

    Worked for me! Thanks OP!!

  • +1

    Still working 9am (QLD time)

  • +2

Over 6000 clicks, mental. Who doesn't love a good freebie though!.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Now I just need to buy an iPhone 6.

  • It worked.. thank you very much…

  • Appears to have expired for me :(. No glass protector for my s6

    • +1

I just checked and it seems to be working… you read the description yeah?

      • If you're referring to register a new account, yep just did that. Will there be an email confirmation or something that i need to click and do it from there? I just ordered it with the new account straight away.

        • Nah, no confirmation email, not sure why it didn't work then.

        • Tried with different delivery address as well. Going to try with a new email address and create another account. Will see how it goes.

        • Worked!! I know what I did wrong. After creating a new account, I went to the top menu Mobile Phones and pick my order via that options. Should just go straight to the promotion pictures on the main page (the one that refers to the free glass screen protection).

Thanks for the responses and questions uwishbillyfish. It made me try different options. Was very close to giving up :)

        • Sorry guys, I'm rushing and not reading the deal details. My account was not a new account which is why the code was showing as expired. Please disregard my reply below

          /edit/

          @bakedbeans:

I'm still getting the error after trying that. I am definitely logged in and I have added the protector using the link in the deal or by manually navigating from the splash ad for the freebies on the main page

  • Worked for me as well…thanks OP, much appreciated!

  • Ordered 2 just now! thanks OP!

  • +1

Thanks OP. Still works & got confirmation email.

  • -1

Appears to have expired for me :(. No glass protector for my s5

    • +1

Did you register for an account first before adding it to your cart?

      • -1

I have added the item and then created the account.

        • Have a look at my post above. It may help. Once you logged in, click on the promo picture instead of picking the product yourself. That did it for me.

        • +2

You have to create a new account first. After this, add the item to the cart and enter the promo code. It should work for you then.

        • @bakedbeans:

          Thanks bakedbeans… it worked now.

        • +2

@shahadatmanik: Exactly as the deal description advised. At least worth a +Vote.

  • I tried ordering and the error "coupon code expired or login required" came up even though I had registered a new account

I went into my orders and an order was already in there so looks like it went through

  • +1

    Thank you OP!

  • +19

Hi, thank you for supporting Zapals. Due to high demand, we have added another 10000 pcs. Enjoy.

    • +1

      Legend!

    • Nevermind my comment. Using the deal link it shows up. I was returned to the site's front page after logging in and the link from their splash ad at the top of the page only showed the ones I mentioned for some reason. Order placed

      /edit/

Thanks for the offer. Are you out of protectors for the Iphone 5 range? I currently only see protectors for the iphone 6 range and and Samsung Edge range

  • Awesome.. Thanks OP

  • "Coupon code "NOV10000CP3" has expired or login required."

    Already Login… :(

    • Could you tell me if adding the item to cart AFTER logging in helps?

    • +1

Hi Refer to my post above. It helps me got mine.

The main idea is to 1) register new accoun 2) click on the Promo Picture, instead of going to the top menu yourself

      • Thanks, I seen your post above. I've added it to the description.

How many per house hold? Can u order more than one if make more accounts?

  • I ordered a phone cover from them 2 weeks ago and still haven't got anything. anyone got their covers?

    • +2

Shipping not as fast as your username aye ;)

  • I always find these freebie offers interesting from a marketing point of view and wonder how well it works out for the companies offering the freebies, how much it ends up costing them per new customer ($2 maybe??), what sort of retention they have etc. It certainly starts the relationship off on a good footing provided the freebies arrive and are of reasonable quality. For this particular offer, I wonder if they will drop ship from overseas where its cheaper or do the order processing here in Oz? Both have advantages and disadvantages though, offsetting price for delivery time may affect customer perception of the service, even if it is a freebie.

The company also knows a little about your possible future purchasing habits based on what phone you have etc, and what they might be able to offer you based on that. The customer list also becomes more valuable in the event of a business sale too.

Wish I knew more about marketing, certainly an interesting field.

    • I must say, I never really thought about what you mentioned in your second paragraph. It would probably help with ordering inventory to have on hand and also advertising knowing those statistics. I've wondered if these sorts of freebies would really pay off… especially when you're giving away 20 000.

      • Well it also weeds out the chaff from the seed to a degree given the phones they are supplying protectors for are mostly upper end (even if I did buy my iPhone 5 for $100 secondhand). Which would put those customers in a certain demographic.

        • ip5 would make you chaff tho

        • @furythree:
Haha.. yeah…. except that an iphone 5s is still available from Apple for the low low price of just $749 for 16GB. Point being is that they aren't $40 Android or Windows phone cheapies.

        • @Gravy: what? ip5 does not equal ip5s

also if they priced a fresh turd at $749, that does not make it less of a turd

if they put the ip6s+ on sale for $70 tomorrow are you going to call it a cheapie too?

price isnt an indicator of quality, but a test of consumer stupidity

the cost price of an iphone is less than $300 but they sell it to you for $1000+
and equivalent spec android costs a bit cheaper due to different materials but is roughly the same and is priced as such without the massive premium, with a few exceptions

comparing a flagship regardless of age against entry level "cheapies" is as stupid as bragging about a new bugatti vs a 1992 mitsubishi mirage

        • @furythree:

No you are right, but the iPhone 5 does take the same size screen protector so perhaps just came along for the ride with the other higher end iPhones.

If they sold the ip6s+ for $70 tomorrow… and continued with that price then yes I would call it a cheapie… albeit a high quality cheapie. If it were a one day sale I'd call it a bargain. There are plenty of cheapies that are of reasonable quality too.

In my opinion, price is generally an indicator of quality to a degree with some exceptions (monster cables springs to mind), but once you reach a certain price level it moves into what I would consider the "prestige" zone… (read "wank zone"), where people buy purely for the brand and associated prestige. People that buy name brand goods do expect a certain level of quality and it if drops below that level they will question the value.

iPhone owners do tend to gravitate towards a certain demographic though, and this is more what Im talking about rather than saying my iphone 5 is the greatest phone in the world.

Works on mobile, after "request desktop site". Thanks.

Got one for iPhone 6/6S. Thanks!

  • +1

Thanks OP. Ordered an iPhone6 one.

  • +1

yay just placed my order through, still worked at 12.45pm today

    • +1

      thank you OP :-D

  • Are they out of iphone 5 screen protectors? I only see the one for the 6/62 and the 6+/6S+ and Samsung Edge phones

Almost two weeks later and my phone case still hasn't arrived. I would have forgotten about it entirely but when I went to register for this deal it said I already had an account and then the penny dropped. Not literally though, I'm only in this for the freebies - no out of pocket expenses

      • Was just in the process of editing my comment. Thanks for your reply though :)

Using your link or the deal link it shows up. I was returned to the site's front page after logging in and the link from their splash ad at the top of the page only showed the ones I mentioned for some reason. Order placed

  • Phone number error?

  • It's still going strong at 11.20am WST
Just wonder if it is REALLY tempered glass?? How does it stick to the screen if it's as rigid as tempered glass is.

  • I am curious, did anyone bought anything aside from getting Free stuff from this site?

  • If these guys can have 20000 unit for free they must be making big bux from ozbaraginers, must be a lot of users purchases extras. Seems like a neat move from these guys, cha Ching!

    • +1

Went over to China for a holiday and was able to buy decent quality glass protectors from the factories for roughly 10c each without any discounts. Given these guys order in bulk, I will assume that they can get them for even cheaper. But spending $2k for promo - not bad at all?

  • +1

Just got one. Thanks OP, great deal!

  • +1

Thanks OP, can't go wrong with Free!

  • +1

    Awesome

  • +1

I think the screen protector covers the front camera (judging from the pic) it will lower the pic quality if you selfie, especially in low lighting.

    +1 for it being free

    • it will lower the pic quality if you selfie
in my case, that will actually be a good thing haha

    • Interesting observation. I'd like to see comparison photos to see just how much difference there is.

      • +1

I did a comparison a while ago at the Apple Store.
Two identical phones side by side.
        I can confirm that my
[nuglas tempered glass screen protector] (http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_nkw=iphone+6+nuglas+scree…) gave a different image quality, slightly blurry.
Very obvious in a low lighting condition.

  • +2

thank, got an iphone 5 one for my ipod touch 6th gen :)

    • ipod touch? where?

      • +1

        in my pocket winks suggestively
