  • Good price!

  • From where?

  • +1

looks to be the good guys….. interesting when you goto the good guys actual listing

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LG-60LF6300-60-151cm-FHD-LED-LCD-…

listing is $1630, but in the actual description $1595

  • Two ripper TV deals already today, impressions from any one who's seen this or the 55 inch OLED in store ?

    • Dont bother with fhd. I just upgraded to a samsung uhd 3d 7 series 55" tv. Best buy when it was on sale at Harvey Norman a few months ago. 4k is worth the upgrade especially since I get access to Netflix 4k content.

      • +6

You and how many others have regular access to 4K content?

With the NBN rollout years behind schedule and running on FTTN, even when I eventually get it in 5 years, it's probably still going to be too slow.

Stick to FHD imo for the majority of people.

        • +1

NBN has nothing to do with it. I have ADSL2+ with does up to 20mbps download and I have no problem streaming Netflix 4k content. In addition, the TV upscales 1080p to 4k very well, so trust me it's waay better to get 4k. If you live near me you can come by and i'll show you what 4k is. The viewing is amazing, is like a whole world of definitions I've been missing out on all this time. The images are crystal clear and lifelike in 4k. Takes a while to adjust to it at first since your brain tries to take in all the detail but it's definitely worth it!

ha! you almost had me excited until I clicked the link and saw it's curved. yikes, what if I have guests around?

I've got the 55" and very happy with it, but strongly recommend buying the lg magic remote for about $40 on eBay, fully compatible with this model but only supplied with the higher end models

    • Ozbargainer is me said no. I will use the free app for the phone, you draw on your screen it moves the cursor on the TV. Save $40!

      • I understand but a good remote you can pick up and use by feel not need to look at it - no starting an app and looking at the screen to vary volume etc. Remotes are much better and around $30 is a ok price to pay.

  • +2

This TV also has USB recording and live tv pause etc, and Freeview plus

  • Will this be the best deal on 60" TV or should I wait until early next year?

or are boxing day sales better for TVs?

    • tv prices drop like nothing else so i'd say wait.
if you need it before next year then dont miss out this ebay offer.

Why would you not buy a UHD TV at that sort of price point?

    • +1

where can you buy a 60" UHD TV for $1304?

  • +1

this is probably the very few 60” tvs with 200hz panels in the market, especiall under $2k.
but my wall is only 1.4m wide, this tv is 1.36m in width…bought the sony 55" for $1040~ instead.

  • Obligatory "don't forget cashrewards"

    • I could be wrong but I think it is luck of the draw when trying to stack cashrewards on top of most ebay codes

      • I haven't had any untracked items when using any eBay code. Just make sure to wipe browser history to start with a clean browser.

  • ummm what about an OLED ?

  • This is the cheapest I have seen this tv since its release. Cheapest previously was HN for 1499 with a $100 gift voucher included. True it is not UHD, but as already mentioned is a 200Hz screen (which is a better quality screen even if 200Hz is not your thing). The screen tech & physical design is not new, in fact very similar to an LG screen I purchased 3 years ago as all the new development goes into the UHD screens. Has the same rather plain & basic looking stand to differentiate it also from the UHD screens.

The interface (Web OS 2.0) is supposed to make this on of the better screens to operate, and is something that has been improved in this current model compared to previous.

Now the questions are whether to go FHD or UHD, and also, will the 'boxing' day sales (or clearance of current stock to make way for 2016 model sales) be cheaper than this 'Ebay subsidised' one?

    • boxing day is just boxing day, not too much discount in my opinion.
again IMO there is no point for UHD at this stage, not worth the extra $$$

  • +1

The temptation is strong with this deal, but alas I will wait for the boxing day deals.

  • Still a coin flip for me… but looking at the number of units currently sold. Not many people are jumping on it.

  • Thanks Austrian Oak Bought one yesterday via the actual listing was delivered today, surprised it was that fast.

Upgraded from a 8 year old 42 inch plasma so a nice improvement.

Also purchase the LG magic remote as a referb from grays for $31.92 after coupon so will see how that goes http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/121812868263?_trksid=p2060353.m27…

    • Delivered on Sunday?
That's good service - and in time for the last holes of golf.
      Did it come with netflix?

      • Was surprised how fast it was delivered less than 24 hours lol. It has a Netflix app that works well but no free months except the first month if not already a member, watched the last episode of Narcos last night, the picture was amazing.
