Sony HX90V Compact X30 Zoom Camera $380 Pickup (+ $8 Delivery) @ The Good Guys eBay

90
CXMASTECH

Great compact camera with 30x zoom.
Have the HX60V and i was looking for a Xmas present for the wife as an upgrade. She loves the HX60V and apparently the 90V is even better.
By far the cheapest locally sourced price. Ebay and Grey importers have it for $470-$599 . Sony price is $599.

Original eBay 20% off CXMASTECH deal

Plus another $14.25 cash back with Cashrewards :)

Thanks to unity1

Obviously the price reflects the discount once code entered in the payment page. You can also choose pickup from local GG stores. In Melbourne , Nunawadding and surrounding stores had stock.

  • I see a Sony, not Canon

Doh…. Fixed. Had Canon on the brain :)

      • Almost there ;)

Check again, you missed something. Hehe

      Cool thanks for that.

    • nice pick up unity

      • Thanks. I was looking at this deal earlier in the day but still a little too expensive for me.

        • keep an eye out just after Xmas. The last two Sony's I got were from HN and Dick Smith in January and it seems they have a clear out of the Sony HX models to make room for the new model which usually comes out in April. I am not sure if there will be a HX100 though :)

        • @soupratt: Purchased my hx60v from this deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/172423

Sold the action cam which made the camera very cheap. Then used the $30 egift card to purchase some memory cards and the coupon has yet to expire.

          @unity1:

Yep. Did buy that one too and still got the action cam. Used it a few times for track days. :)
And I bought a stack load of sony memory cards and a PS4 controller with the discount coupon card.

        • @soupratt: Yes, $59.95 delivered for the PS4 controller is good. Keep buying, the card never seems to expire.

Please let me know if the hx90v comes with the same ecoupon. Thanks

        • @unity1:

hmm.. Mine did expire. I think I got about 12 things out of it. The funny thing was that you needed to order things individually. So when I ordered 5 memory sticks they all came in separate postage boxes.

    • Great. Judging from ebay, headphones should fetch around $150 (minus ebay fees)

  • HX90V is a 30x Zoom. Pretty good in good light, suffers in low. Uses same sensor as the HX60V so I don't think IQ will be heaps better but for the price, the extra features (EVF, smaller) and the free headphones offer it's a pretty good deal.

    • the HX60V is surpassingly good in low light. Not SLR quality but much much better than the Samsung and earlier HX30V I had. I think the equivalent competitor would be the TZ70 from Panasonic. It would be interesting to see how that does in low light.

the cheaper version DSC-WX500B (without GPS and viewfinder) is $280- with discount and also gets the free headphones

    • nice one… decided to go for the 500 instead.

    • GPS is actually quite nice with OSX/iphoto as it tracks where you have been taking photos on a map. Good feature if you travel a lot.

  • Forgot to add that if you use Cashrewards you pocket another $14.

  • Just as a update I claimed the headphones on Saturday and received them today.. Fastest turnaround time for a reward/cashback ever.

    • damn, that was fast. im hoping they don't run out as im still yet to pick up my camera.
how do the headphones look? worth keeping

      • +1

        Still in the box :)
Looks great though (in the picture on the box)

    • That was fast, it is already 18 days after the claim. Still waiting…
Called the sony service center, they said 2 - 6 weeks.
Do you receive the approval email as well or only the email with a claim number?

      • got mine on last Friday, so arrived within 1-2 weeks for me, great headphones as well (for being free)
