      These models are designed to effectively distribute pressure and maintain natural spine posture. They are good for healthy sleep and help with back problems. Unfortunately, there is no documented direct benefit to cancer or mental illness.

          @jdr: The history of chiropractic is rooted in spiritualism, "magnetic healing" and other 19th century woo, not in evidence based science. THe founder of chiropractic claimed to have first discovered it by healing a deaf mans hearing by manipulating his spine. Chiropractors historically have claimed to be able to treat pretty much every kind of non-muscular/skeletal ailment through spinal adjustment, and many continue to do so.

          While the leaders of modern chiropractic associations have realised that the links to superstition and woo are detrimental and have cleaned up their literature, individual chiropractors often continue to claim to treat diseases through spinal manipulation despite the complete lack of evidence of the efficacy of chiropractic in treating these diseases. Further, it doesn't help that many successful chiropractors seem drawn to other alternative treatments and anti-science viewpoints (such as promotion of Gersson therapy and involvement in anti-vaccine activism).

          Adding to the problems of chiropractic is a lack of uniformity and rigorous universal standards of the kind that usually apply to the licensing and qualification of medical practitioners. Unlike medical practitioners, chiropractors often don't quiz patients on their medical history, lifestyle, family's medical history. The scope of the "diagnosis" is the symptom the patient describes right now, in a total contextual vacuum.. like "lower back pain". In some instances pre-existing medical conditions (which chiropractors are not necessarily trained in diagnosing) may render chiropractic dangerous. In instances where elderly patients have undiagnosed osteoporosis or bony growth spurs on their spines, for example, spinal manipulation could lead to non-trivial injury.

          Ultimately chiropractic is not based in evidence, there is a huge dearth of good research on the subject, and much like any other unproven claims it sits comfortably in the category of "alternative medicine". As the old joke goes - what do you call alternative medicine that is proven to work?.. You just call it medicine.

      Zzz Atelier is operating as a 100% online business at present. There is no showroom or display units. If you are located in Melbourne you may contact our customer service via [email protected] and we may be able to make an arrangement for you to inspect the mini sample units. These units are 30cm x 92cm in size, which is approximately a third of a single size mattress. While it is not big enough for you to fully lie on, you should be able to try the firmness of the mattress and inspect the quality of materials.

      The reason is because only one code can be applied for each order. It doesn't work if you try to enter both codes together. One of the code is good for pre-order while another is for immediate shipment.
