Red Alert 3 on Steam is $29.99 USD ($33.50 AUD for comparison pricing)

  • For people interested in getting this for the 360, 365games.co.uk has it for only $4.49 pounds.

      i think thats for xbox..

      • Yeah dude. I already said it's for the 360.

  • Thanks devz. You are a champion! Can this bargain be top of the month? Highly unlikely I guess. :D

Top bargain, just bought it then. I was looking at this at Harvey Norman the other day for $48, and almost bought it on the spot. I'm glad I didn't.

    • does anybody know whether there are enough online players there for this game now. Its been quite a while it has been released. If there are good online players, I will buy it.

      Thanks! Please shop here again.

You're only allowed to install it a limited number of times - so if you reformat or need to uninstall/reinstall for whatever reasons (it is YOUR PC and YOUR game, after all), you can only do this five times before the game will no longer work due to internet validation restrictions. That's why I didn't buy it - it's typical EA BS. At first it was only three times! If you need more activations, you have to phone EA support on a pay per minute basis.

    • Really? I didn't know that. They should actually just tie the game to a personal email. Then it's more fair. Hmmm

    • stuff like this really grinds my gears - I'm going to boycott this game.

      • +3

That's what I did: boycott. I was a leading player back in the RA2 online tournaments until EA allowed the hacks to take over. Their response to complaints was 'buy the next game, it will be fixed in that one' which is typical of EA's attitude torwards customers - and this shows it hasn't changed. Other games are even worse - Spore you can only install three times! Blizzard is better anyways - can't wait for StarCraft II

  • I have found on zavvi its 9.95 pound free shipping to Australia. so from xe it comes to 17.4688$. So i guess its a good price on game.

    • zavvi add $4.11ish for postage to Aus

Good deal, but won't buy from them again, chances are wont even receive it, ordered C&C3TW on their $9 special, took over a month to get an email saying was out of stock, and no response to further emails sent..

The copy protection on this game is also ridiculous, rather get it from other sources than have to worry about whether i can play it after a couple reinstallations..

I've never had any issues with GAME. There was also the occassion when they accidently advertised (i think) an official PS3 controller for $9, a price they honoured for all orders that were placed.
