    Battery: Non-removable Li-Po 2320 mAh battery

    Killer.

    • +1

Well, may be a killer for a few of us, but most of us don't care.

      Since is only $260.13.

    • I have been using this phone for two months now and while 2320mAh seems small, but the battery management is very good, I use about 70% of battery in a day and that includes some calls, a lot of messaging on Whatsapp, even more browsing on 9gag chrome…and if you feel battery is too low just pop in on the vooc charger, charges up 75% in 30 mins

At this price it's a steal, and I thought I got a good deal last time combining the coles dick smith gift card deal + trs

Edit: Also want to point out two things I don't like about this phone but is still not a deal killer, I rely hugely on Whatsapp, and the messages sometimes don't come straight to your phone, especially when you kill clear the ram, you'll need to open up the app and all the messages will flow in, after that messages will come in normally.

Another thing is that there is no app drawer, so like iphones you have to create folders and organise your apps in the home screen

      • ryan5601, have you tried Nova Launcher? I've previously used phones with no app drawer, and the Nova Launcher creates one.

        • yup I've used it before but I would prefer if Oppo themselves would put in app drawers like they used to, right now I just organize everything in folders as I do not use too many apps

    • Common complaint, but I haven't had a single battery issue since Nokia 3210.

      My must-have: microsd slot.
      Cost down, future-proof up.

  • good price,

  • SOLD OUT… wow over 30 sold in less than 2 hours.

    • hey how do i mark it SOLD OUT?

  • Anyone have issues with these R7's for push notifications?

Had to return my P8 due to random freezing and push notifications refusing to work :(

    • +1

Yup it was quite annoying. I didn't get any Whatsapp notification until I checked manually. Ended up selling the phone.

It wasn't a great phone for me, quality of the metal used is so so compared to HTC or Apple.

I decided to stay away from these smaller Chinese companies.

      • Not sure why you got a down vote…

Yeah likewise, whatsapp didn't notify me then I managed to reset and change some settings which got it working but emails worked when the phone felt like it.. Very odd for what is a very nice/capable phone.

Metal I thought was good quality, perhaps I just got a bad egg.

Certainly would have swapped for another if they weren't sold out to give another one a chance.
