Just bought stuff last night! Missed out

    • Maybe they will send you $10 worth of FREE candy as compensation !

      • Just bought 4 Everlast t-shirts

Why do you need 4 if they last forever?

  • Bugger, could have saved a tenner on my last order.

    • +1

Maybe not, as I was checking out, the price of the goods in my basket suddenly went up by around 70%.

Might be that they were all out of stock, suddenly, or perhaps it is bait-and-switch.

    Good job EC…

  • Fairly frustrating as I also did my order last night as I read the order had to be in by 14th December to get it before Christmas.

    • +1

  • Any idea how the sizing is compared to other brands..

    • They do have a size guide

      • yes..but sometimes the size differs by product and they have the same size guide for pretty much all products..

        • +4

Id take the risk. There is no way im paying $35 for a t-shirt at rebel. Rather pay $3.50 with the risk (or 10 for $35 lol)

1st rule of ozbargain: Buy Now, Think Later .

Unless your rich or you don't care about saving, T-shirts start at $35 at rebel or 2 for $50

        • +1

@easternculture: Yes I completely agree on that

        • Sometimes the size differs by the actual product with sports direct. Last time these guys had a sale I ordered 3 of a shirt in Medium. The same identical shirt and colour. All three arrived with a 'medium' label on them but were each a different size. One was small, one medium and one large (I know because I had ordered several other shirts of the same design in other colours that were the right size). Clearly someone had just sewn the wrong labels onto them. Of course they were $1… so… $3 for a shirt was still ok….

Once i bought a woolen jumper in XL and it would hardly fit a small child. I normally wear M-L.

      • lol.. Thanks for the response

    • +1

It varies. I got two styles of Slazenger shorts. One style a large was too small. Another style medium was too big. Just buy lots of stuff, something is bound to fit.

      • +1

        False economy

    • Puma sizes are normal compared to USA sizes but the Pierre Cardin runs very small and the everlast is inbetween those two id say one size smaller then USA sizes for the everlast

      • Damn, ordered my usual size for some pierre Cardin singlets

        • Well they feel really short on me but they are tight fit clothing

        • @aussieprepper: would buy some larger ones but they've doubled price now :(

        • +1

@shapers: mate you should be sweet i am just a fatty lol

  • Thanks EC! Just got a few Everlast items.

also ordered some jeans last night, grrr.

    • +1

Once added to the cart, it appeared to be 13$ instead :( Do you have the same issue?

      • no, I managed to get them for $6.

      • I have added a pierr cardin polo and the price went double. what is happening?

        • Same thing with me

      • +1

Prices can change depending on size and colour selection.

      • read the fine print 'from' ;)
price may change based on size & colour selected of each product!

        • They definitely changed the price. I had this item in my cart since yesterday for 8$ http://au.sportsdirect.com/pierre-cardin-bedford-cord-chinos…. Saw this free shipping thread, jumped in to order. Added few more items, refreshed the cart and the price jumped from 8$ to 16$.

        • @thelaxong:
…interesting. i have around 30 in my wishlist nothing seems to have increased since i last looked yesterday…?

sure you were looking at 8 dollars and not 8 pounds and then logged into the au site or changed your currency pref afterwards?

        • @franco cozzo:

Pretty sure. I used them quite a few times and my setting are default to AU$. The other colors are still in my cart for the same price at 12$ for the same size and in AU. http://au.sportsdirect.com/pierre-cardin-bedford-cord-chinos…

        • @thelaxong:
hmm that sucks…one thing ive noticed re this site prices change all the time depending whether its in one of the flash sales etc.

was it perhaps in the pc flash sale as that seems to have ended now….? :)

  • Thanks EC! I had some items in the cart that I held off on buying because I didn't want to pay for shipping.

anyone with toddlers, huggies swim nappies are also cheap at 50c each.

    http://au.sportsdirect.com/huggies-little-swimmers-disposabl…

    • Thanks, great find! (hope they fit, sizing seems different from Oz Huggies)

    • +1

Thanks. I've passed this on to my niece's parents. Almost deserves its own post.

  • +1

Weird, I am looking at some shorts, they appear as $6, but when added to the cart are $10. Anyone having the same problem?

    • +3

They seem to adjust the price depending which colour and size combination you choose (the headline price is a "from" price)

    • I had the opposite problem, kids shirt was $10, but when added to cart went down to $7 !!!

      • +1

        I had the opposite problem,
        opposite problem
        problem

        ???

        :/

    • yep, prices in basket have increased.

    • I think they are in a middle of a price hike to compensate for the free shipping. The same search now shows different prices to before.

Lucky who got in early, but nothing in it for me now.

      • Yes, price hike. Now if I refresh the product pages they too show the higher prices. $6 shorts are $10 now. $8 shorts are $13 now. Bad timing…

    • same problem too :(

  • Summer time

  • Thanks OP! Spent another $60 I hadn't planned to… :)

  • Thanks, Heaps of gr8 back packs at low price.

  • Will this arrive before 24th?

    • +4

choose express shipping at checkout, its also FREE !!

  • Good price for Liverpool $24 and Tottenham $20 jersey

    • +1

Well… I can now say I bought a Hotspur shirt from Mike Ashley.

  • Thanks EC!

  • Aah I knew I should've been a little bit more patient and the free shipping round would come up again. Oh well! I agree with comments re: sizing though as you do have to get "lucky" to get something that fits. I've had a couple of hits and misses this year.

  • I am also getting the problem where prices increase when added to basket….

  • -2

It already end at 9am today.

    • +2

Yeah, 9am GMT, which is still over 7 hours from now.

      • +1

Oh sorry. Didn't check that for GMT. Thank you.

        • +3

Free shipping coupon isn't applied till after you select and accept shipping. Will show as full price on the selection screen which is somewhat confusing.

  • Thanks OP

  • +1

Cheers OP. Nearly made my order yesterday and I would have missed out on free shipping.
    :)

    • +1

      Congratulations !! You saved $28 :)

Just bought this too for $11. Should be good for Winter

    • Yep. Same. Just ordered one for when on the bike. :)

    • +1

Love your taste with the Everlast clothing. Out of all the t-shirts I have owned Everlast seemed to last the longest.

    • hey what size did u buy? DO u have any idea about the fit and quality? thanks

      • +1

Im a medium but i bought large.

Last time i bought an everlast jacket from The Hut (UK), it just fit me and thought it was a bit on the small side.

        • how big are you? I want something that fit to my body. im 170 tall and 75. is small too small

        • @bigbabo:

You probably would need a medium

I'm a 108 cm chest and medium was tight.

    • What is the quality like? Will this keep me dry in heavy rain? Thanks

  • +5

Who remembers when those Slazenger V-Neck shirts were $1 or $2?

    Inflation. Gone. Mad.
