60

Pretty good. Only thing is that it is 1080i instead of 1080p.

  • Is there any difference between 1080i and 1080p the average user would notice? Especially considering most are probably DiVX through this thing?

Seems like a good price though. Recently got something similar for around 80 delivered.

PS: You've put that as expiring in 2 days but Zazz are one-day-only deals. Buy it today if you want it.

    • updated. thanks

  • Not sure. I would expect so but will be curious to know if there it. I actually bought an upgraded model with 1080p and Network connection for $99. So, hopefully there it.

  • Looks like an OK media player, but not MKV (H264) is only supported up to 1024 x 768. So really should not be considered for those looking for MKV player.

    • The 1024 x 768 restriction is only on h.264
MKV is a container format (no relation to h.264) and hence no restriction applies

      • In any case, the product spec page says that the max resolution for H.263, H.264, MPEG1, MPEG2 and MPEG4 (Xvid, DivX3/4/5/6) encoded video is 1024 x 768. This player isn't a good choice if you've got any inclination of playing HD video with it.

The price here is pretty similar to the RRP; I think the previously posted deals for the more versatile AP-110D are better.

  • no h264 is a killer

i personally think 1,080p is worth it on larger sets

i don't like the look of 1,080i HDTV at all, prefering 720p
