    No big discounts..
    Only Xbox seems OK.

    • That's why it's called boxing day

  • Some good deals in here. Wonder if EB games will price match the Zelda case at $20 and the amiibo at $9. I wonder if they'll kill me if I ask since they'll be insanely busy…

    • Eb hasn't released there Boxing Day deals yet, could be cheaper or same..

      • Amiiboos probably, Zelda case I dunno. From what I remember they don't really mark down cases till they're clearing em out.
cmon JB and EB put out your flyers I'm dying here!

        • Yep, waiting to see what JB come up with. Every year there's some big tv with a huge markdown, be interesting to see what happens this year!

        • @Spackbace:
I'm also hoping for a good deal on a ps4 from JB but looking at what little they did last Boxing day I feel like I'll need to wait till EOFY.

Oh nice, 20% off iTunes gift cards hahaha is that even a deal anymore

    • -2

      It's a steal not a deal

with iTunes gift cards, stock BigW gift cards now for 10% off then come back to BigW to pricematch Target's price when it starts, that's more than 25% discount for sure, it's a steal then :)

  • Good deal for pillows

  • You should clarify that it starts ONLINE on 24 Dec 6pm, not in store.

    • Yep, amended.

    "Up to", "from"
I steer clear away from shops who advertise their sales like that. Proof that they have bugger all deals.

    • Exactly why I haven't spent a penny at a Myer store since 2011 as they are the kings of this.

      • +1

thats your loss then, myer actually have some great sales during the year

        • Nahh a few good deals, but mainly on laptops/tablets/audio. Lots more smarter deals out there imo.

    $549 - 138cm (54'') Platinum LED/LCD TV

    platinum? interesting..

  • Their Xmas decorations are already 50% off in-store in Sydney from what I saw last night….for those who read the BIG W Boxing day post before it was deleted how does this compare?

  • Dumb question from someone that hasn't used an iTunes gift card before…
I want to buy the Logic Pro X app from the Mac App Store which is $320. Are there any limits to using gift cards or any risks in me buying $320 worth of gift cards at 20% off and then using them to pay for the app?

Officeworks has iTunes cards always on sale if you need to go large.

    • +1

No limits as far as I'm aware. The discounts for iTunes cards are not on the variable ones so you'll need to pick up 3 x $100 ones and a $20 (or $30 if the $20s are not discounted). I can't foresee any issues with your purchase. :)
