What a ripper deal, and a no-brainer as the perfect stocking filler for the kids at Christmas. I've searched across the country and found stock at the stores listed below, but there are plenty more - just no time to check them all.         For you, but mine said available for click and collect AND for delivery, except when I put it in my cart, then tried to pay with Paypal, it went to paypal site, then came back with the message I indicated above.

        But thanks for posting, it looks like it may work for some. I posted the above in case others may get same message and they can see they are not the only ones.

    Have tried oconner and east vic park in wa. Both stores say that it is a deleted line with no stock in store even though online stock inventory says it is available.

    Hey folks, I'm a long time lurker, first time poster..

    This pencil pack just did my head in (yes it's in stock, no it's not, buy online, buy in-store only, etc etc).. And after spending the past 3 days filling my cart with things that Dick Smith doesn't seem to have, I'm ready for a meltdown..

    I remember the day where I'd be able to just type in "clearance" on the Officeworks page and got some great bargains from time to time (e.g. Esselte magazine holders for $ 0.18). Luckily I discovered Ozbargain and now Officeworks bargains pop up from time to time again.

      It's such a shame a minority choose greed over generosity & fairness, especially at this time of year. Most likely the same ones that cry foul when there's no stock around. Sad.

          Not always, if I'd been able to get this a few weeks ago I'd of bought a lot of them for Christmas toy hampers my office was doing for one of the charities. Not to sell and make money from.

    Was able to add to cart last night, it said 13 in stock at my local store, went there at 8am when they opened, they had no idea what I was talking about and no stock on the shelf.

    Thought I'd throw this in here as I'm not going to list it on it's own because like the $1 pack deal, this pack is no longer on the OW website. When seeking out the $1 deal I found this Texta Big Box Colouring Set for $3.     Regular price of $14.98, marked as $7 on Price Hipster but bought for $3 in store at Vermont South, VIC.

      Wish I'd seen your earlier post as it would have saved me a trip to the same store this morning ;-) I didn't see other notable bargains there (didn't see the Texta set you mentioned so I don't know if whatever few they had may have cleared). Confirming the Sharpies weren't there.

      I don't think the 77 piece colouring pack was available on clearance at this store as there is no shelf space for it (Ofw system stock numbers are useless). If it was on the clearance table there wouldn't have been many (if at all). The store manager was good and knew of the item but she hadn't seen any stock of it in the store.

    Thanks for the post OP but it's a shame Officeworks stock system is rubbish (talk to the staff and they imply the same. I'm sure they are tired of chasing up none existent stock in the name of service, esp for a $1 item. Imagine how many people are asking staff about this based on the clicks).

    The system is not real time either so could be at least a day's count out (which is easily enough to sell out of a handful of items, if they ever existed).

    Unless someone actually says they -saw- stock on a shelf people posting "there's x available at xxxx store" is just going to mislead others (and potentially waste their time/effort for nothing rather than be helpful).

    From all the posts here only two stores were confirmed as having some real stock (Five Dock, NSW and Morley, WA). Moral of the story - For your benefit and the benefit of readers please do not believe the stock levels from the Officeworks system or staff reporting from the system let alone represent it to others as factual. Thanks

    Picked up the last 2 that were there in Mandurah. Probably only there because they were misprinted on their display. Texta box wasnt in the store that I could find.

    went to old guildford ,NSW store..though their system shows stock but the manager refused to sell and claims its fake item ,cant be sold.. dont know whats going on there

    looks like its been hidden in the back ..checked with west ryde ,north parrmatta stores..they could see the stock in old guildford..
