Stanley 117 Piece Tool Kit $49 (was $99) @ Bunnings

680

The Stanley® 117 Piece Mixed Tool Set is ideal for the home as it includes a wide assortment of tools.

The kit includes a large range of sockets in 1/4" and 3/8" drive, ratchets, screwdrivers, pliers, an adjustable wrench and an assortment of screwdriver bits.

1/4" and 3/8” drive
Quick release ratchet
Wide assortment of tools and bits
Tough carry case

Not the most comprehensive kit but useful

1) as a one stop for small household jobs, before hitting the shed for that $xxx Kincrome set
2) for apartment dwellers who don't have the need for a full kit
3) for the budding / junior handymen/women in the family
4) for your spouse who always steals your tools but never replaces them.

Not sure I would have paid $99 for the set but at $49 cant got too far wrong

    How many cable ties?

    • +2

looks like none but would you like a million allen keys you'll never use?

      • I wish there was 2 cable ties. So I could bundle the imperial and metric keys

      • Only if it's a box of the same size one that you need all the time and can't find in your old set

    • Ozbargainers have long memories. 2 screwdrivers, no pliers, no side cutters, no vice grip, hammer ok, short tape measure.

Dick Smith and Repco has/had an excellent screw driver set for about $10. I would recommend getting what you need separately, but as poster said it's not bad value for a one case tool kit.

Not sure, but here.. have a neg!

      • Such a mean comment on Xmas. Where's your good cheer?

        • Ya! Das boot!

  • Must have had too much Xmas cheer, can see it was $99.00

  • Anyone had any luck getting it? This or the repco $10 kit??

    • This

  • perfect present for a tool.

  • Yes, just got back from getting one, Albury Bunnings had about 6 left in stock.

This is actually a great deal!

And the carry case keeps it all together… good little portable tool set or an extra set to keep inside the house for quick fix'em ups.

Good find OP, thanks for posting.

Good for the kids i guess…most grown men would already own a hammer , screwdriver , socket set etc

  • Good little starter kit for any dude or dudette flying the nest.

maybe a pan set is for suitable for a dudette?

      • +2

        Sexist, but I love it!

      • My friend got several sets of pans for her 18th and I ended up getting one of them when I moved house and didn't have any, so maybe a dudette doesn't need more pans?

        • How about an iron then? Women love ironing I hear… :P

  • Villa wood store got heaps in stock, just picked one set, thanks op

    • Awesome. Can use it to escape from the detention centre.

  • Just be aware for some reason this tool kit does NOT have a set of Phillips head screwdriver attachments. It instead includes a second set of flathead attachments…in imperial measurements.

Most likely an error on Stanley's part.

The photo on the box shows a set of Phillips head attachments but the description actually says flathead attachment with imperial measurements.

I returned mine to the store and asked to check another box and it's also missing the phillips head attachments. I kept it anyway since it's a good deal and you can buy the attachments separately.
