    It comes up at $2,549 for me … would be a great deal at $1911 (Waiting for a good 65 4K under $2,000 …)

  It says 12 month warranty.. but does anyone know if are you still covered for a reasonable amount of time by ACL on refurbished products?

  I used to buy my laptops from acer factory outlet. Everyone of the laptops had a problem within a month of some sort. Either I was unlucky or the service people never fully check them out. That said, if you are willing to buy the TV, and then wait for them to repair it (if something goes wrong) go for it. However I would not be spending $1500 + on a refurbished TV.

    You're not unlucky. Refurbished electronics are usually second hand lemons that have been repaired by some Chinese dude hidden away in an electronics workshop earning $2/hour. Refurbished is cheaper for a reason.

      The only exception I would make is for Apple refurb. Products appear identical, and I've had none of my refurbs fail (as compared with the brand-new stuff, where I've been bitten a few times in the last 5 years).
