  • i have one of these, best keyboard/mouse ever used.

There is one thing they did to really gimp the keyboard - the top row (function keys, and most importantly the escape key) are buttons, not keys - i.e. very different tactile feel, and harder to push.

I tend to hit those keys a lot (editor/IDE hotkeys).

Otherwise, I agree - its a great keyboard - especially if you buy it during the annual microsoft cashback - came to about $43 when I got mine.

  • Anyone know what the wireless range on this is like? Would like to go wireless, but I'd be keen on something that I can use from 4 meters or so away from the computer tower. Also if anyone uses it gaming, how do you find it?

    • Just saw what the mouse looks like, probably not that good for gaming I suspect..

      It's upto 3 meters

  • after Cashrewards 12% off = $80 (cheaper than officeworks price match)

        Yep, it's ambiguous. Or maybe

Cashback on Services and Accessories: 4.80%

      • oh okay. Thanks for your correction.

Use the code boxing25 at staples and get it for $89.25 with free shipping. Plus 6.4% cash back with cash rewards. Cant be bothered working it out but will be cheaper

    • Did you get the cash reward because its not up on the cashrewards site?

        • its the 20$ off 20OFF80 coupon on the site, not the boxing25. Some of my past purchase with CR did follow through because the coupons were not listed.

        • @rowdywabbid: Ahh righto, fair point.

        • @rowdywabbid: You are correct. They can and do stop cash backs when using codes not listed on the cashrewards site.

•A coupon code was used that was not listed on the Cashrewards website in which case rewards may not be payable.
