    I say no to 1366x768. Why fit a turbo in a yaris chassis?

    • -1

      yep, sounds like a giant waste of time… why the hell would you use an i7 and 8tb to drive 768p?

      the only way this laptop is useful is to drive an external monitor which defeats the purpose a laptop in the first place

      also 5,400 rpm drive is the final nail on the coffin

      • U can always replace the hdd with an ssd for around 100. Full
        Hd Screens with these sort of specs are never sub $1000 especially from
        Dicks even with discounts applied. A full hd screen for around the same price your looking at an i3/m3 with 4gb ram.
        Seen a asus zenbook 13" for around $680 which pretty decent value but no graphics and only 4gb ram. Not sure if it upgradable either

    • On the money mate. Display put me off this deal straight away.

  • Would this be okay to run some games without it getting extremely hot or fan running wild? I'm looking at getting something for my son and don't have to much to spend nor am I too switched on with technology

      gt940

      Memory Bus Width 64 Bit
      Memory Type DDR3

      Translation: this wont run games well unless its minecraft or that low end kind of crap.

      I would not buy this to run any games. At all. Not even low end crap because you're basically paying $850 to run low res 768p.

      • -1

        Wtf are you talking about, you can run games on medium fine. You have no idea what you're even saying.

        • -1

          Not really. Note that this is the one with DDR3 memory which is considered to be outdated. The performance is barely better than the integrated intel HD graphic.

          If you actually looked at the link you posted you will SEE that it says most games run on medium fine.

          @climaxpower:

          Ahh the good ol' change the whole point of your argument because you can't even read your own link lol

          I said "Wtf are you talking about, you can run games on medium fine. You have no idea what you're even saying."

          Runs games on medium fine.

        • @climaxpower:

          that in itself is not that bad, problem is would you pay $850 for the privilege of playing low or even medium detail… in 2015

          for people with very low standards, sure

        • +3

          @tonyjzx:
