Is there a catch to this? I.e. impossible to get reservations unless you book a month in advance or the like?
No, you have to book online though. I checked the Sunday's offer (3 games for $15 plus shoe hire $2) and many times were available.
If you are going on a sunday evening it is $15 for 3 games (plus $2 shoe hire). Also Mon-Thur from 7-10pm there is unlimited bowling for ~$22. This is direct through AMF.
